Publisher's Summary

It was hard enough serving as my witchy cat’s familiar when we only had to deal with threats we could see. Now he’s gotten himself into a bitter feud with a newly dispatched ghost, leaving me to wonder...How in the heck are we supposed to defeat this thing?

I miss the simple days when all I had to worry about was finishing my thesis paper and not getting fired from my part-time job as a barista.

And, yeah, even though I didn’t choose the magic life, it sure as heck chose me. Now all I have to do is to keep myself alive long enough to appreciate some of the perks.

Irritating narrator.

I read the first book which I enjoyed but decided to get the audio book this time. The story was good but the narrator was very irritating. I found it difficult to listen to the story because of her voice, very off putting.
