Love & Politics DO mix

Loved this story about politics and love!! It was a fun read/listen. Narrator Megan Solesski did a great job with the different characters!!

The Romeo and Juliet of Politics

When Ruby and Chris first run into each other (literally), they discover they have more than a love of running in common. They agree on every point, from their favorite foods to their taste in music, with one huge exception. Ruby is working for her uncle's presidential campaign as a speech writer, and Chris is working for his mentor's presidential campaign as a PR manager. And they're working on opposite sides.

I initially resisted picking up this book thinking I'd had enough bickering over politics to last me a lifetime. But I'm really glad I bought this one, it's more about Ruby and Chris' romance than about any political maneuvering. It was a cute story, their romance was adorable from their first meet cute to the last glimpse we had of them.

This was a clean read with no descriptive scenes. The narration was great, with distinct voices for each character. It flowed really well and immersed me in the story. I liked the ending as it was!

When they met in the airport and "used" the family restroom. (made me wonder how many people have done that)

While I was gifted this by the author I would have given a credit for this book as I really enjoyed it. The only reason I gave the storyline 4 starts instead of 5 is I really wanted to know who won the dang election. I would listen to a book by this author again.

What did you love best about Meet Me in the Middle?

Love is all about compromise.. This is a great testament to how real relationships work. Eryn is able to capture the true feelings which occur within relationships.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Meet Me in the Middle?

The most memorable moment to me was how Ruby & Chris realized the difference between each other.

Which scene was your favorite?

In an effort to not give away the book, I have to say my favorite scene was towards the end when Ruby is sent to Ohio.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, again, so as not to give away the book, seeing how some people can come together and agree on certain life moments is really something which can be extremely moving.

Eryn Scott has done it again! If you haven't read her books, you'll enjoy them all from Sunny Skies to Ruby.
Eryn does a great job of bringing real life events into her stories which take the reader away.

This was a cute story. It was fun to listen to. Writing was decent enough.

Another fun book by the author, love came liking everything. Then in work they were on opposite sides, made a cute story. Of how even that didn’t stop the fun of how to meet.
