Publisher's Summary

Marin Cole has never:

Seen the ocean

Climbed a mountain

Taken a risk on love

...But if her sister's plan works, she just might do all three.

Ever since her journalist mother died on assignment, Marin has played it safe, refusing to set foot outside the state of Tennessee. Her wild-child younger sister, Sadie, has trotted the globe as a photographer, living off of art and adrenaline.

When Sadie returns from a tough assignment abroad and looks a little worse for wear, Marin reluctantly agrees to a sisters' spa weekend on the tropical island of Saba. But her lifelong fear of travel is affirmed when Sadie misses the flight, Marin's luggage gets mixed up with another passenger's, and an episode of turbulence sends her hurtling into the lap of Lucas Tsai, the handsome stranger who stole her sister's seat.

For the first time in a long time, Marin has to step outside of her comfort zone as she explores the island with Lucas and learns what she's been missing out on. With each breathtaking new experience, Marin gets closer to her real self, the man she’s falling for, and the heart-wrenching truth about why she’s there in the first place.

Critic Reviews

“Both a romantic escape and an ode to sisterhood, Meet Me in Paradise made me swoon, laugh, and then sneaked up on me and made me cry. Marin and Sadie are the beating heart of this story - I adored them in all their wild, wonderful messiness. A radiantly hopeful book.” (Rachel Lynn Solomon, author of The Ex Talk)

Meet Me In Paradise is a stunning tale of love, loss, and the capacity for wonder. Marin's adventure will touch anyone who has ever felt adrift in a sea of responsibility and decided to swim toward the shore. Hubscher expertly crafts a delicious blend of humor, whimsy, and raw emotion that left me laughing, crying, and unable to put it down.” (Denise Williams, author of How to Fail at Flirting)

Meet Me in Paradise is such a compelling read! By turns heartwarming and heartbreaking, Libby Hubscher truly takes us on a journey as Marin learns to find happiness on her own terms. Her adventures are brought so vividly to life that I want to start a #ProjectParadise of my own!” (Jen DeLuca, author of Well Played

Clever, romantic, tragic, and inspiring

I adored this book, although I wasn’t expecting it to be so sad. However, it was still very clever. Very “ps I love you” with an adventure to magical places. I would have liked for it to be a little longer to build out some of the characters, but, still enjoyed it. The narrators were both incredible and brought the characters to life. The only lame part of the book was Ted, go away already.

Much more than meets the eye

Excellent story of personal exploration and growth. Don’t let the bright cheery cover fool you. The story ripped me to shreds and then sewed me back up again. Full of love and hope and a slow burn romance. My only complaint is that the romance and love story was a little too fade to black and I would have liked more there. But otherwise excellent all around.

Sad but sweet

Very sweet story of love, loss and family connections. Well written and read, enjoyable! Sad to have a good story end, it’s difficult to find a novel that leaves you smiling after tears.
