A bit of a letdown

All I want is for Sam to end up with the right girl which takes the whole book (of course). And Belle dumped him because she’s a lesbian? Didn’t see that coming. Such a witch of a stepsister. So dramatic and demanding. Sam should’ve broken up with her before spoiling her for her birthday. And letting her take her gf to Venice?! I guess he’s the better man and Clem scored in the end.

Another great story!

Jill Mansell is quickly becoming my new favorite author. I love the way she weaves multiple love stories into one happy ending for all.

Couldn't wait for it to be over!

I have read or listened to (or both) every one of Jill Mansell's books & I've liked nearly all of them. This one, however, was not worth the credit. It was boring & predictable. And while I don't have an issue with having a gay character in the story, the lesbian love affair seemed forced & thrown in for some kind of interest (which failed miserably).

Really disappointing & I won't be rushing to get the next one!
