All is well...until...

First, I REALLY like health journeys and I really loved almost all of this. So, why the one-star overall?

Imagine you have been led through a lovely meditation to a series of soft affirmations and then into sounds of waves lapping the shoreline. Really nice transitions for sleep. The water sounds get slowly and progressively quieter until they disappear into a long peaceful silence and you are within a hairsbreadth of falling into delicious slumber...when…

out of a stretch of safe complete silence, a really loud spokesman projects out with lungs like a megaphone the company info, the usage laws and contact info, etc and then a minute later you get the loud thanks for using audible…

The effect was so jarring to me that I couldn't sleep for the next 2 hours, perhaps having some warning may make the effect less alarming to others. I hope so.

Ok, so someone will probably suggest that I take the recording into a sound edit software and remove that part. NO ONE should have to do that! Download software, learn how to use and then edit and save the file without any loss of quality and with chapters still intact. I'm not willing to spend a day learning to do this. The company should exercise some good bloody sense and do something different in their production for audio meant to fall asleep to. Just put it at the beginning?

Needless to say, I was looking forward to purchasing other sleep audios from health journeys but from now on I'll stick to the free youtube options that don't feel the need to embed loud copyright and production info into the end of a sleep recording.

This might have gotten a slightly better review if I had gotten enough sleep last night.
