Mindfulness

Have you ever wished life would just slow down? Have you ever felt like you are racing the clock? I bet everyone has at one point or another. We get stressed, frustrated and angry over something we can't change. Life will never slow down so to speak, but we can accept this and become mindful of ways to approach this problem.

This book will give you insight into a mindfulness world. With over 50 examples and tips, mindfulness will become second nature to you. You will be observing the world around you and figuring out things you never knew. You will feel strong, relaxed and happy at the end of the day.

Buddhism

For Buddha, the path to a true happiness starts from the understanding of suffering's root causes. Those people who are considering Buddha a pessimist due to his concern with suffering have missed the point. As a matter of fact, Buddha is a very skillful doctor and he can immediately break the bad news of suffering, but still prescribes a proactive treatment course.

In this representation, the medicine is Buddha's teachings of wisdom known as the Dharma, and the nurses who show and encourage us to take our medicine are the Sangha or Buddhist community. However, the illness can only be treated if the patient is willing to follow the advice and the course of treatment laid by the doctor (Buddha) - the Eightfold Path as the core that involves the control of mind.

This book contains proven steps and strategies on how to know the spiritual teachings from the Buddha to enlightenment and true happiness

Listen, learn and be enlightened by the spiritual teachings from the Buddha in order to experience and acquire your true happiness!

Are you ready to achieve that Zen and have a greater peace of mind?

Decent read!

This book is able to reach out and touch the reader in ways that offer hope and a pathway to climb out of the prison our own minds have held us in for so long. Truly lifesaving information for those struggling for answers to how to take control of their thoughts and feelings and come to a place where life is enjoyable and meaningful and even blissful as is was always meant to be.

Love it!

This book will help you stop sweating the small stuff and help you experience what it is like to let go of what usually occupies your thoughts and puts you at the mercy of reflexive negative feelings. It is a bit repetitive.

Amazing read!

My wife and I read this book together. We were shocked how well the book described the mental activities we experience and the consequences associated with them. We've given the book to dozens of others, and all agree...

Worth read!

I love this book, mainly because it teaches you how to get out of your own way and stop being a slave to your thougts. That said, read this with a grain of salt as you would and should with any self-help book. This is a great primer for those who are aware of their issues with anxiety and is a light read. It can be a life saver if you use it to supplement a healthy lifestyle and are willing to work to make marked changes in your mental health routine.

Worth read!

This book is a great place for the lay person to first explore some of the ideas essential to Indian spirituality, particularly Advaita Vedanta. The main reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it is ultimately wrong on a very important point about the Self, as I find the teachings to be dualistic upon examination.

Decent read!

This book is amazing. I was hooked right away, just reading the introduction. I have been doing a lot of soul searching in my life lately, and this book already has given me a much more positive and introspective look at how my mind things and what kind of garbage I need to clean out of it in order to think more clearly and see things how they really are in life.
