What did I just read?

Hahahaha, this book had me cracking up! Sweet and short but like totally insane! I cannot believe what was in this book, I mean the description of the book totally nailed it. I was insta love and hot and heavy! lol there was a little story line which I liked and it was sweet little extra for Joey and Law!

Hot baby making romance

We get 2 good stories. I loved the characters and the story. There’s nothing hotter than an alpha male with baby making on his mind.

Female narrator (not good what were they thinking)😖

Female narrator did not suit the part of the character she was playing in the story. Her voice was irritating and almost stopped listening many times but I enjoy Alexa Riley books. Audible shape up.

Hot, Steamy, and Dirty

OVERALL: I’ve read/listened to a few Alexa Riley books in the past and enjoyed many of them. This one isn’t my favorite, but it’s a good, hot, dirty, quickie!

STORYLINE: Riley does what she does best here -- insta-lust/love with ridiculously descriptive steamy sex scenes and lots of dirty talk. Also, this book is part of a series called “Breeding,” so prepare yourself for a heavy breeding fetish. Again though, these are not surprises based on the title, author, and description of the book. The extra storyline of the father/marriage adds a little drama, but not too much. The “extra” story at the end of Law & Joey is fantastic as well.

CHARACTERS: Paine is the epitome of the over-the-top Alpha male. He wants to claim Penelope… and he does. I love Alpha male characters who are gruff, masculine, and possessive, and I can let a lot of his actions slide because it’s an Alexa Riley book, and I know what I signed up for. However, I cringed when he asked her if she was of age, but then being unsure he could stop if she wasn’t.
Penelope is a character who I think seems a little lost, between the situation with her father and her prearranged marriage, her giving in to Paine makes sense to me.

NARRATION: OK, so if you listen to a lot of romance/erotica audiobooks, you’ll immediately notice the voices, despite their names sounding new. Max Thomas has a husky, deep, sexy-as-hell-voice. Emma Hudson has a lovely voice, and it’s easy to love yourself in the story when she narrates.

Loved it!

A story with a sexy, romantic, possessive alpha man. Both narrators poured their hart into this. I’ve listened to this audiobook over and over already. Confession: I’m a bit in love with the voice of Max Thomas 🤭

The Right Parts

I was hesitant to listen but overall I was pleasantly surprised especially after the reading the reviews. The publisher's description was spot on so not sure why those who listened were surprised by the story or its contents.

It was ALL ALPHA, ALL SEX, ALL CLAIMING & ALL OVER THE TOP. The narrators did a fantastic job breathing life into the words of Alexa Riley.

While Max Thomas sounds like another popular narrator maybe Joe Arden??? And Emma Hudson sounds like another popular narrator maybe Emma Wilder. It's late & bed is calling or I'd confirm. But if your fans of those narrators then you might like this listen.
