An amazing student of human instinc

Even the short stories worth spending the money to read and understand more about the overall narrative of the other books

Good story. Pretty good narration.

She mispronounced OPFOR and MARs rockets, spelling them out instead of making them words. Come on!

Ended too soon for me..

This story was great, I just wish it had been a little longer. I wanted to see the definitive moment when Jackson voiced her final decision on Lazarus' offer. However, this book did field some unanswered questions about Greyson's TA unit.

meh, it was ok, didn't really add anything.

you can see and predict the plot of the story pretty easily throughout. already knowing for the most part what the characters or character is going to do. doesn't add a whole lot to the overall story other than it's trying to make you feel bad for the welfare rats and of course the usual trope of big government is evil and anybody that joins is a mindless drone, and only a few mindless drones are capable of seeing the "truth ."

5 stars is great (I rarely give this rating).
4 stars is good (given only to interesting and well-written books).
3 stars is OK (the usual listen I encounter on Audible).
2 stars is poor (and not worth the credit or the listen).
1 star is awful (and to be diss'ed and shunned and spread as thus through out the Audible Universe)!

Worth a listen.

Short listen with good narration. Provides a little back story for the battle that happened in Detroit. I still feel it leaves some questions unanswered, but it helps.

meh

Good but too short. Introduced new characters, parallel to the story line, stated to develop them then dropped it.

Decent story, but falls flat towards the end.

Book is a 3.5 out of 5 to be honest. Narration was average, not the best vocal range but Corporal Jackson was the primary speaker. Story I initially liked but the ending didn't make sense. If I'm a father and someone hands me dog tags I'm asking how? Especially if I'm from the military. The prior battle in Detroit what did the government do with hundreds of civilians bodies? At the end does Jackson go rogue? She's hell bent on revenge and leads a green squad into a trap and kills another TA solider. Jackson overall wasn't likeable, tough talker but comes across inept at her job, indecisive, and lacked situation awareness. Lastly what was the endgame for Lazarus and company? Political solidarity? If the government hiding bodied they new they were coming back I force what was the point? Overall decent but it's written in a way for a sequel which leaves the story feeling incomplete.
