Lisa's Fraught & Triumphant Journey to Motherhood

Lisa takes you on an emotional journey of the challenges she and other couples have faced to become a parent. Although there is despair, she shows courage and never gives up hope of becoming a Mother herself.
An unconditional love can occur through nurture, not just nature.

Thank you Lisa for being so honest with your experience, this book really helped me and I related to everything she went through with ivf. Luckily I got a miracle child with ivf but a friend has recently adopted and this has really helped me understand what she has been through too. Thoroughly moving book and a brave and honest account of the epic journey some women face to become a mother.

Fabulous book

Loved this book so much Lisa is a truly wonderful person and how lucky is Billy to have her as a mother a super book for anyone having difficulty having a child of their own never give up be brave like Lisa and what is meant to be will be

An easy listen

An easy listen and a rough guide/story to how some women might go through the process of making the decision to adopt.
As someone finding unable to have children now through sudden medical reasons before being able to try, I found it comforting/interesting to hear her views.

Just what I needed

Fantastic story and gives me hope for the future. Brilliantly read and written. Would recommend for anyone trying to get through ttc.

More life story than adoption support.

An easy listen with a lot of relatable content, but lacked the depth of was looking for in the topic of adoption. Probably my own fault as didn’t research the book beforehand.

Mediocre

Didn't need a lot of the preamble of her youth. The rising inflection at the end of sentences almost made me give up altogether. No real reflection on adoption long term, travels from toddler to 12 barely mentioning the inbetween. I'm annoyed I spent money on it.
