Be honest

This book is timely, interesting and it convicts the reader. Since you picked up this book because you acknowledge you or we (I cannot exclude myself) have a mouth situation, the work is laid out for us and I expect it won't be easy. Mrs Meyers says this is a lifelong journey that cannot be done without God.
Or maybe you picked up this book to help someone else? I say they first have to acknowledge the have a problem, but you can read it for them I guarantee you will get revelation from this read.
The nuggets of Scripture shared were right on time. From the audible version it was very easy to bookmark the spot or write a note to save any Scripture shared. The book format has all Scripture listed in the back outstanding.
I believe this book will bless anyone wanting to speak to others with grace, want to understand where complaining, gossiping, grumblings and murmurs come from, as well as wanting to be a mouthpiece for God.
I'm on my third listen and it won't be the last.

Convicting, but positive and encouraging.

Joyce Meyers communicates biblical principles in an easy to understand and in a practical manner. I think the subject of Godly talk is much needed in our age.

Probably a good message

Probably would have been a good message if I could even listen past the first chapter. Narration was horrible, causing me to completely lose track of WHAT was being said. I'll look for something else.

Right under our noses

I loved this book Me and My Big Mouth . Joyce Myers shows us with back up from the Bible that our words are used by the devil to cause evil. How relatable this book is not just as everyday people but as world leaders. This is a book that I appreciate and will listen to again.

Not worth it!

I purchased a CD version years ago in Joyce's voice. It was centered around learning to keep your mouth quiet and do more listening. She gave everyday examples and easy ways to work with your mouth/voice in a positive way. This current title does cover similar topics but not in detail. It rambles, jumps around, and brings in topics poorly related to book's purpose. Not what I expect from Joyce. I'm returning this book.
