Buy a different book on this topic.
First, I've never given such low marks on a book. Secondly I've lived in foreign countries and have experienced different accents.
Based on the references this book is clearly geared towards Americans. That said I can't tell if they hired somebody to fake an accent or if they hired somebody who really doesn't understand English. I say This because on multiple occasions they contradicted themselves; so I can't tell if they were so focused on their accent they didn't pay attention to what they were saying or or didn't understand what they were saying.. It will be interesting to see what the written book says.
If I thought this book wasn't written for Americans I would never criticize so heavily. But too many of their references were and if their references were regarding American diet and and celebrities.

Give zero stars were an option
Similar to other reviews, this book is contradictory and confusing. I am uncertain if the voice is computerized, or an actual person. I wanted to learn more about the MAYR diet but this book seems to be all over the board about all diets including MAYR. It ends up being confusing, an avoidable disaster. This book will not help you with the Mayer method.
