Maybe in Another Life: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience!*

A People Magazine Pick * US Weekly "Must" Pick * Named "Best Book of the Summer" by Glamour * Good Housekeeping * USA Today * Cosmopolitan * PopSugar * Working Mother * Bustle * Goodreads

At the age of 29, Hannah Martin has moved back to Los Angeles and takes up residence in her best friend Gabby's guestroom. Hannah goes out to a bar with Gabby and meets with her high school boyfriend, Ethan. Gabby asks Hannah if she's ready to go, and Ethan offers to give her a ride later if she wants to stay. Hannah hesitates. In concurrent storylines, Hannah lives out the effects of each decision. These parallel universes develop into different stories with large-scale consequences for Hannah, and the people around her.

*Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

“Booktrack”editions on Audible -POOR

When I purchased this title I was not sure what the “book track “ edition meant. Apparently, there is a background of music throughout the narration. I find this very distracting. It seems that more and more, everywhere we go there is music, sometimes quite loud, invading your space. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy listening to music as much as anyone, but not when it is forced upon me, especially while listening to someone narrate a book. I will be returning this book to audible, which is unfortunate, as I think I would have liked the book very much. Julie Whelan is a narrator narrator whom I seek out. She is very talented.

Over produced....

The story was light and the narration was excellent But, it is annoyingly overproduced with loud music as a nearly constant backdrop. It was distracting and extremely annoying. A few times I thought that some other app was on in the background playing the music.
