Une histoire puissante sur la relation entre un enfant et les adultes qui l'entourent, Matilda, de l’auteur Roald Dahl, est un roman qui touche de près de nombreux auditeurs, car elle met en scène la situation compliquée d’une jeune fille incomprise à la maison, comme à l'école. Pour tout enfant qui s'est senti petit par rapport aux adultes qui l'entourent, Matilda les inspire à se défendre, à dire ce qu'ils pensent et à accepter leur caractère unique et exceptionnel. Christian Gonon crée une identité pour chaque personnage de cette histoire, dépeignant parfaitement l'attitude optimiste de Matilda, la brutalité diabolique de Mme Trunchbull et la méchanceté des Wormwoods. Il apporte à l'histoire une touche de chaleur et de joie qui la rend accessible, même aux plus jeunes auditeurs.

French study novel
I chose this story to keep my French listening skills up. I enjoyed the music and dramatic voices of the characters. Slowing it down a notch really helped with understanding each word. Enjoyable story, too!

Lecture et fond sonore géniaux !
Le meilleur livre audio que j'ai eu jusque là, très bonne lecture des différentes voix, jolie musique et effets sonores, et livre très drôle.

This is in french and I can not listen to it
absolute useless selection that I cannot listen to as it's in french should be able to return book for a different one if you have made a mistake

No good for read along
I’m still learning French. One of the ways I like to practice is to read along with an audio book.
This audiobook is skips over a lot of the text and they’ve made adaptations to the interactions between the characters which makes it impossible to use this audiobook as a read along.
I do like the acteurs and actrices in it and the gent reading the book has a pleasant voice and good intonation.
Maybe I can come back to it when I have improved my French :)
