At over 5 hours, this isn’t really a short, just a shorter story. I actually think it’s just right for a perfect escape. Big enough for a decent plot, short enough that it doesn’t drag out. Say ahhhhh!
This book can be read as a stand-alone but it’s more enjoyable if you’ve read books 1-15. Bonus: we get Natalie Montgomery & Roark of Trion from book 9 Her Mate’s Secret Baby. Then there’s Commander Grigg Zakara and Amanda Bryant from book 6 Mastered by Her Mates.
Miranda Doyle followed Natalie Montgomery to Trion when she moved back with Roark. Miranda was very hurt by a dysfunctional ex husband and she asked for a relationship with Trion Doctor Valck Brax to help her heal emotionally. It evolved into Friends With Benefits but, eventually, that was no longer enough. Both are too afraid to say they want more, they’ve outgrown the previous limitations to their relationship.
While Brax tries to wrap up his previous commitments without contacting Melinda, she applies to the Interstellar Brides Program. Melinda is matched to Prillon Captain Trist Treval, 2nd in Command of Battlegroup Zakar. When Brax looks for Melinda he finds she was transported the day before. He has to chase her across most of the galaxy. Melinda has found in Trist what was missing from her previous relationships and Brax realizes his only chance at being in her life is to convince them to make him their Second.
I’m really enjoying this audio with three different narrators, one for each main character. Luvit!

Nice Story

I enjoyed that this book as it had less fighting drama. I hope the next one has the same theme. I want to enjoy more happiness with the couples.

Enjoyable lots of twists and turns but fun to follow the characters and the storyline. Interesting to to see what happens. You’ll enjoy it.

Matched And Mated

This book had a different twist that the other but that is what makes it unique. I enjoyed the difference in this book in the series. I think others would like it too. I do encourage other readers to take a change and read these series of books. You get a little bit of action, danger and some tears but most of all you get love and hot love making.

Narrations One of the best

The IA one of the best books in the series! I really enjoyed the story and the narrators were the best yet! All 3 had so much emotion. You felt how different each character was. Bravo narrators. excellent performance

The story of how she got her second mate was sooo good. I liked that there were two hot aliens fighting for her. I love Trist and his bad ass dominance. I also loved how Brax was able to describe her needs in such detail. I can relate to her need to be submissive. Love love love this book. 🔥🔥🔥🥰💗💗💗 I read just about every book from Grace Goodwin. Some I’ve read multiple times. I love this author! ✍️

Listen to all the Interstellar books

I love all of the Interstellar Bride books regardless of the series, & they all flow & interact with each other. So just as a FYI: The best way to listen to all the Interstellar books (bride, cyborg, beast, virgin) is to listen to them in order of release date & book #. Do not listen to them separately solely based on the individual series because all of the series' books interact with the characters & timelines from the other books in all the different Interstellar Bride series.

Great depth of the characters, their relationships, and relatablity.

I enjoyed the depth of the characters and hearing the story via different points of view. The cultural practices and view were very well done, creative, and interesting. I also enjoyed the way the characters are able to respect and meld ones another's cultures together harmoniously. The fmc is interesting, relatable, kind, and strong. This particular mix in genre isn't normally my thing, but the story was good and there were a lot of truly touching moments between the characters. Overall, It was a great book! ~~KayDee~~
