Audible I NEED Imperfect Match! The Second Half 📕

Kat is from a well-to-do family. They are under the impression that she is living and working as an artist after dropping out of Harvard. She is not interested in finding her soulmate, she is just living in the moment. She is vulgar, trampy and doesn't apologize for it.

She promises to sign up with an online dating service to quiet her mother's constant nagging – Kat lets any interested parties know exactly what she is looking for – a hook up at best and unsolicited advice on the other.

This book is really about the relationship between Kat and her mother, with a brilliant cast of friends and coworkers.

PLEASE NOTE: This is ONLY PART 1 of 2 BOOKS! The end of the story is found in Imperfectly Matched. I think that is important to know before buying. It is mentioned at the tail end of the Program Summary, but I did want to point it out.

I did like this book, it was well-written with an interesting plot. While this is classified as Romance > Erotica, I think it would easily fit in the genres of Contemporary Romance and consider it Chic Lit, as well, WITH the following warnings, there is strong language (attributed mostly to the main character) and descriptions of sex.

This is the first book that I have listened to by MJ Fields. I'm surprised and happy to see that there are several series with well over 15 titles. I'm adding a few of them to my massive wish list.

Ramona Master is a great match for Match This! Her vocal performance is very good over many different characters. I like consistency and hope that she will narrate Imperfectly Matched! when the time comes.

A package deal with Match This! & Imperfectly Matched! Would be ideal – a perfect match. Be aware (again) that this is only 1/2 of the story, it is over 4 hours long and the 2nd part is not yet available on audio. I am impatient and want to listen to the conclusion RIGHT NOW. Audible, release it soon, please.

Cliffhanger!

Typically I am not bothered by foul language in a book, but all of the F-bombs became over used and took away from the book. I thought the narrator did an awesome performance with her expressions and emotions. The story was original, yet lost a lot of the appeal with the repetitive words. I didn't like how the story ended in a cliffhanger. I requested this review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, and/or publisher and have voluntarily written this review.

Ramona Master was outstanding in this audiobook.
Really enjoyable story and I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.

Just couldn't get into this story...

Match This! which is part one of the Matched Duet series by MJ fields was an okay listen. It's vulgar as hell and though there is talk of sex, etc. I really wouldn't classify this as erotica. Trust me, the language and sex didn't bother me one bit. I just couldn't get into the story and didn't care about the characters. I found Kat to be completely unlikable and though I'd like to hear what happens to Ricco with his child issues, I just don't care enough to listen to the second book. The book is left on a cliffhanger, so be aware of that when getting this title!

Ramona Master did a good job with the narration of this story, though I didn't quite feel that it fit Kat. I'd still definitely listen to more books narrated by her though as her voice was pleasant to listen to and she did a good job with the male characters as well. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher for an honest review.

Absolutely Awesome

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. And... I loved it!!!! It was pretty far out there, or at least Kat is, pretty far out there, but I loved her. Wow, what it would be like to say what you want when you want without repercussions. I do have to say, I'm hanging and the second installment of Kat is not in audible. Can I wait??? Guess I have to. The author was fantastic and the narrator was perfect. This audiobook was one of the best I have listened to in a while. I haven't listened to any other MJ Fields' books, but I just bought Man of Steel Book 1. If it is close to this book in entertainment value, I know I will love it too.
