Thrilling

Master of War by John H. Thomas is a fantastic spy thriller. Scott Fleming did a fantastic job with the narration. Master of War is the second book in The Maxx King Thriller series. The story is entertaining, interesting, thrilling, action packed, engaging, enjoyable, exciting, suspenseful, military drama, keeps you on the edge of your seat, and so much more. After surviving assassination attempts Maxx King is on a new mission that could make or break the peace between U.S.A and Chinese. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.

Gripping, high-stakes thriller

Great audiobook! I was hooked from the very start. Maxx King’s return is intense, filled with danger, betrayal, and nonstop action. The narration brings the tension and emotion to life, making it impossible to pause. Highly recommend for anyone who likes fast-paced thrillers.

Masters of War is a fast-paced audiobook that captures the full thrill of a cinematic thriller , which is what fans want, especially in a sound track. Right from the beginning of the novel, there is a build-up of tension that pulls the listener into a very real environment of world politics, cyber warfare, and covert ops.



Maxx's relationship with Gabby is a source of warmth and exposes the high-stakes of global politics with their deep, emotional connection to one another.

Scott Flemming's narration is what makes this audiobook truly exceptional. His range of tone, volume, pace, and character voice adds tension and authenticity to every moment, resulting in a heightened sense of urgency around the action and real-world immersion.

The combination of technology, global political tension, and personal conflict is tailored very well for audio, and listeners could easily binge listen to the entire book.

If you enjoy fast-paced conspiracy thrillers that unfold 'like a spy movie' in your ears, you owe it to yourself to listen to this book and to go back to the first book in the Maxx King series on audio.
