So hot

Patrick and lexie story was so good and hot 🔥 and steamy . The narration made the characters come alive ... I love this series so much and can't wait to listen to the next book.

Ugh! I'm a reader... not a writer. But I'll leave this review because Golden Angel asked me too, and next to Nora Roberts (JD Robb Death Series), she is my favorite writer. She sees the subtleties of relationships.

I adored this story. The chemistry between Lexi and Patrick was everything I could have wanted and more. Golden Angel develops characters so well.. makes me wish I could be friends with all the little subbies in this series!

Great series!!

Good

I loved reading the book but the audible was long and sort of dragged on. It was still good, don't get me wrong but being a speed reader with books, it took me a bit to get use to the slower pace of the book being narrated.

Never give up!

I love how Golden Angel develops her characters. She brings the listener into into the character's heart and soul. Lexie, a submissive, is a young woman who is head over heels in love with Patrick, a dom. He loves her, too, but the are several reasons that he will not act on his love for her. The narrator does an excellent job of portraying the emotions and personalities of these characters. He also knows how to read a hot sensual love scene. I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. I highly recommend this Audible book. This story and series is about people in the BDSM lifestryle, but it is about so much more. These are a group of friends that truly love and support each other. If one of them needs help the others will drop everything and be there to help. Some of their antics will have you laughing out loud. I had already read this series in the ebook form. I am as happy to now have the Audible version also. I know you will love this Audible book.

Awesome Stronghold story

I absolutely loved Lexie and Patrick's story. The feels and just got scenes. Golden Angel knows how to write a book. absolutely love the Stronghold group.

My favorite in series so far!

This is the first series I've read/listened to by Golden Angel. I have loved it so far. I am so invested in all the characters. Even though these can be read/listened to as standalones, they are best as a series! I absolutely LOVED Lexie and Patrick's romance. It was sweet, hot, frustrating, and enduring all rolled together. A brother's best friend romance is a favorite trope of mine. Patrick's concern for his "adopted" family was felt and although I understood Lexie's thoughts, I was definitely team Patrick!

Robert Scarlato is an excellent narrator. He voices male and females wonderfully. I do not get tired of listening to his easy going, smooth, deep voice. He's becoming a favorite narrator.
