Dear German language student,
Our Mastering German Conversation series gives students the opportunity to train their conversation skills with oral drills. Each module focuses on a specific aspect of grammar.
This module focuses on the future tense and passive voice. The major components of this unit:
- Future tenses: standard future, future perfect, immediate future, intentions, and assumptions
- Passive voice: for accusative object, for dative object, without a subject
- Passive voice tenses: present, simple past, perfect, future
- Alternate passive constructions: auxiliary "sein", auxiliary "man", modal verbs, perception verbs
- Vocabulary useful for social life
- Interwoven is practice for correct application of gender, case, and adjective endings
After working through the drills, the student will be able to formulate sentences in the future tense and passive voice in real-time conversation. Please see our website for the accompanying manuscript of this course as well as demos of the oral drills.
