Publisher's summary

Forsaken is a broken clay vessel in Comfort Cove, a quaint 19th-century fishing village. This is a story about the struggle for her soul as she is discarded on the Potter's Field, the town's garbage dump. The cosmic war for humanity is brought to vivid reality as Master Potter finds her there.

You may see yourself as you hear about Forsaken and her struggle toward wholeness. Through many trials she develops intimacy, receives healing from her past pain and brokenness, and learns that Master Potter desires her even in her weakness. No one is too broken to be healed and used by God.

Heavenly and satanic forces battle for Forsaken's soul until Master Potter rescues her, giving her a new name and new hope for her life. Supernatural encounters, visits from the spirit world, and her personal struggle for hope blur the line between allegory and reality.

Uplifting

I read this book years ago and chose to listen to it this time to be refreshed and encouraged. Being reminded of the Potter's love for me and the cleansing needed to make me strong.
I was a little disappointed with the narrator as there were a few words she mispronounced which distracted me, but I still found the reading to be enjoyable overall.

Good reminder of God's love for us

He never stops seeking relationship with us. The writer has a way of reminding us why we seek God in good and bad times of our lives. I'm excited to read the next book, Fire Mountain.

It was a great book

I have never written a review before, so... The book was written the the style of The Pilgrim's Progress. Out was very touching and insightful. I saw myself throughout the book. I almost couldn't finish it, due to the narrator. She reads well, has a sweet voice, but at times out should be very intense and serious, her demon spirit's voices sounded like the Wicked Witch of the West. It just almost ruined those parts. He voices for theses characters didn't do them justice. To reiterate, she reads well, has a pleasant voice, the book was fantastic, the narrator just didn't do the character voices well for me

Good Book

This book reminds me of a more modern day "Pilgrim's Progress". A good book.
