This Is Marketing shows you how to do work you're proud of, whether you're a tech start-up founder, a small-business owner, or part of a large corporation. Great marketers don't use consumers to solve their company's problem; they use marketing to solve other people's problems. Our lives are a never-ending stream of "when" decisions: when to start a business, schedule a class, get serious about a person. Yet we make those decisions based on intuition and guesswork. Timing, it's often assumed, is an art. In When: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing, Pink shows that timing is really a science.

So valuable; consume it however you can!
If you could sum up Master Content Marketing in three words, what would they be?
Practical; information presented in a well thought out manner with humor and intelligence.
Effective; follow this book and you will become a successful content marketer.
Repeatable; no matter where you are in the evolution of your writing, this book is a valuable resource to pick up again and again.
What did you like best about this story?
The first time listening, I picked up on details that I didn’t catch when reading the book.
There is so much valuable information that I’m including this book in my regular rotation for listening. It’s the perfect companion for the book in print.
What about Pamela Wilson’s performance did you like?
I’m a big audio book fan and love it when the author reads their book. I’ve heard Pamela speak in person, so it was comforting to hear her voice reinforcing the concepts in the book.
I listened at a 1.25 speed, since at normal speed the pace was a bit slow for me.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I really zeroed in on the Section 3, which goes over Pamela’s system for breaking down content writing in to steps you do over multiple days. I naturally take this approach, but to see it refined into a specific system helped me be way more efficient.
Any additional comments?
Read the book in print, then listen to this valuable information again and again!

Phenomenal
So many content marketing books are full of fluff. They often feel as though they are a collection of blog articles slapped together to make a book.
This book is very different. This book outlines a highly detailed approach to creating content every step of the way. The amount of information contained in the book is amazing. Just read it.

Play at 1.25 - 1.5 Speed
Would you consider the audio edition of Master Content Marketing to be better than the print version?
The print version has to be better due to the author, (in an attempt to be clear and concise) reading this book excruciatingly slowly. The content is pure gold and the author really knows her stuff, but she shouldn't narrate books. Sorry, Pamela!
Tip: Increase the speed to 1.25 or 1.5 and you'll enjoy this book much more.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
Overall, the book is an outstanding resource for anyone looking to start a content marketing strategy. The author covers every aspect of writing content for the web in an easy to follow format.
Any additional comments?
This is an excellent book, but the author should stick to writing books and give up narrating them. I recommend you skip the Audible version and immediately buy the Kindle or print version.

A comprehensive and engaging guide
This book was perfect for me. I want to learn the ins and outs of a topic without wasting time on "filler" content. In time, I became more of a skimmer than a reader, but I found myself reading and listening to this book and enjoying the process as if I were chatting with a friendly mentor.
Pamela's extensive experience in content marketing and her years managing the editorial team an Copyblogger show in this book. The material is comprehensive and approachable, full of well-thought, real-world examples. The explanations are clear, precise, and easy to follow.
Pamela's narration is comfortably paced, which combined with her outstanding enunciation and voice made listening to this book a great experience. For me, this audiobook was idal to learn the meat of content marketing during my daily commute.
(I had previously read the book, but I was eager to listen to the author narration after enjoying ZeroToBook.fm, the weekly podcast she did with author Jeff Goins about the writing process for this book.)

This one delivers on the promise
How often have you been suckered into buying one of those 'master' type books that failed to deliver? Puts you off - right?
Well this one delivers on the promise taking you step by step through the process of writing great, engaging copy. It's primarily aimed at blog posts, but it's equally applicable to writing sales copy that is authentic and trustable.
And unlike other books that 'soft teach' a subject - that is they tell you what to do, this one goes further and actually shows you how to do it too.
I bought both the paperback and audio book. When you work in marketing you don't always get the time to sit down a read a book, but you can usually find time to listen to one.
Personally I think the author must be nuts to release this so cheaply. I've paid $800 upwards for courses on copy that are nowhere near as good as this (Joanna Wiebe of Copy Hackers springs to mind). The value of this book is just astonishing. Even if you think you know everything there is to know, you'll find something in here that helps or inspires you.
