Publisher's Summary

The Royal Family was all but dead. Garth, Turck, Snaid, Maddock, and Rafe Metathis, the Undisclosed Ones, now ruled her people. The humans called them gargoyles. Well, that's what everyone thought, except for Marci, the one true heir to the throne that everyone thought was dead. With the curse on her family, she would not risk exposing herself to the Undisclosed Ones, even if they were her true mates. Could they truly rule together? She already knew they controlled her passion and her heart.

Garth and his brothers sensed the danger that surrounded their woman, but the Metathis brothers knew they could protect her. The passion and the heat that came from her was the only thing that calmed the ranging animal in each of them.

Together they come together on Halloween, in the ancient ruins, her old stomping grounds, to claim their mate and finally destroy those that would take their woman from them. But would the old curses rise up and destroy them?

Masquerade Menage

This book was OK. I dozed off a few times while listening and had to rewind. This is a steamy reverse harem book. Michelle Jones did a good job with the narration. I received them free audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Reverse Harem, Paranormal

Part 2..but you’re ok just listening to this and don’t need the first book, but it would help.
Mostly the catching of mates, working towards revenge and solving a mystery, but mostly the claiming of mates...amazing no one is killed as distracted they seem to be.
Looking for hot sex with a woman and the 5 brothers who are her mates..here you go.
Not a plot that pulls me in, but I’ve certainly read or listen to stories with much less going for them.
The narrator did a nice job with pace and tone.

More plot holes, but steamy enough

As with the first part in this trilogy, it's an attempt at packaging a sexy story in a coat of actual Fantasy. The story is steamy enough, but the quality of the fantasy genre is lacking. That makes it an average story at best. My humble wish would be that the author had just chosen the sexy genre and went for it, focussing on what she clearly really wants to write about. And there's definitely an audience and customer base for that.

This story, same as in part 1, sports several strange scene jumps, plot holes and a number of deus ex machinas. The men in the (reverse) harem all lack personalities of their own except the leader, also same as in part one. Pity.

The narrator has a nice voice for sexy stories, but she reads every single line with the same intonation; for a short story that is bearable but I would not want to listen to an entire book read by her.

~ This story was given to me for free at my request and I provided this review voluntarily.
