Poor Narration

I have always loved the story of Martin’s Mice — it’s cute and a little unusual and weird and I love that.

I feel that the narrator had no awareness of the character’s personality and misrepresented them. I felt Martin was quiet, thoughtful type of cat but the voice effect of narrator turned these beautiful characters into rather creepy, very creepy! annoying ones with a foreboding and sinister vibe.

It was hard to listen to. Impossible to enjoy.

That made me sad.
