Publisher's summary

Sometimes love will come in the most unexpected places.

Scott is a YouTuber known for his popular Outdoor Omega adventure videos. While on a trip through the Winnipeg area to film a zip lining adventure, he detours to a small neighboring town for their annual sugaring off festival.

Justin is a seasoned constable with the RCMP...yep, he’s a hot, alpha Mountie and Scott can’t stop sneaking peeks at the guy who seems to pop up around every corner.

Through a weird twist of fate - and a little help from a local legend named Amik - Scott and Justin find themselves stranded together in a remote cabin for several days. The two hit it off with an almost instant connection, but Scott is an American whose travel visa is about to expire and his law-abiding Mountie isn’t about to let him stay illegally.

Return to the world of Hollydale with quirky romance full of all the fluffy feels that you’d expect from a Hollydale novella. This is the eighth book of The Hollydale Omegas series but is absolutely able to be read as a standalone. This is a novella and definitely contains an HEA. 18+ listeners only please! And yes, this audiobook contains M/PREG, adults adulting in sexy grown-up ways, and way more than an occasional use of potty mouth language.

Funny, sexy and sweet!

Maple Spiced Omega is the eighth book in The Hollydale Omegas series by Susi Hawke. It's fun, funny, cute, sweet and has heat.

Scott and Justin are sweet, adorable and sexy together. And it was great to visit with other Hollydale favorites and see the entertaining interactions between these fun characters. The albino beaver added a fun "magic" to the story. I love this series and this addition did not disappoint. Definitely a recommended read.

Drew Bacca narrates this story and does a great job. The voices of the characters are fantastic and the story shines here.

Sweet, low angst Mpreg

I enjoyed this very sweet, low angst Mpreg story. There are two hot men, sexy times, inconvenience, stubborness, and long distances to be overcome. But have no fear - there is also a mythical albino beaver to make sure it all turns out all right. What!? you say. Yeah, you read it right. Albino Beaver. It's a warm, quirky, funny tale that pokes gentle fun at some Canadian idiosyncracies, But mostly it's just a fun tale of what two guys will do for love, and the ends the powers that be will go through to bring two true mates together.

I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this honest review.

Love this story

Unlike most of the Hollydale Omegas stories, this one mostly takes place in Canada (fitting that I listened to it on Canada Day). It is such a fun story of a legendary beaver helping two people find love. Scott has no problem believing that Amik is trying to help him and Justin get together but the very pragmatic Justin doesn't agree. Thankfully, Amik knows better and helps the two find each other again.

Drew has done such a great job on these stories and he continues to do a great job, especially with our new Canadian. Even though I've read all the stories, I love listening to Drew narrate them for me.

Perfect International Hollydale Story

Hollydale Resident and YouTuber Scott is on vacation/work in Canada when he gets stranded at a small, remote cabin outside Winnipeg. After hearing the story of local legend Amik, an albino beaver who brings together lovers, he wonders if Amik is real and if he really keeps seeing him.
When RCMP constable Justin is taking a break and gets stranded with Scott, he doesn't believe it's because of Amik. But that doesn't change the attraction between the two men. And as Scott's travel visa comes closer to expiring, Justin knows he is going to have to let Scott go.
This story has to be one of my favorite Hollydale stories, especially since you get to see your favorite Hollydale characters (yes including Tom) while getting a whole new setting in Winnipeg. You also get another "magical creature" in local legend Amik. While he is less interactive as some of the previous characters, he is no less important in bringing these two men together. The characters were so well written! Justin was such a fun character, bringing out the Canadian stereotypes in such an adorable way, eh!
The narration was amazing! Drew Bacca did an absolutely perfect Canadian accent, bringing true life into the story! It was very easy to follow along with the story, as each voice was unique, and even when additional characters were brought in, like Luke and Tom, they had their own voice to bring a unique sound to the story!
This is truly a series not to be missed for anyone who loves mpreg stories!!

A Beaver Will Lead Them

Another great story in the Hollydale series. This time we get to move a bit further afield and end up in the wilds of Canada. Scott's chance encounter leads to meeting up with Justin. And of course we have our mystical creature to help them along. This time in the form of Amik the beaver. This series is just so much fun to listen too. It always makes me smile.

Quick, sweet, insta-romance with two adorable men!

Amik the Albino Beaver legend was really thought out and made for a wonderful push to get Justin and Scott together.

Scott is an American vlogger who was vlogging in Canada. Justin is a Canadian Mountie, who has jokes and is constantly apologizes. The two were just so sweet. There isn’t a lot of back story and this really is a quick romance, but I found it entertaining and it held my attention.

Drew Bacca did a decent job. His Canadian accent had me smiling. I did like how he changed the voices, but a few times I had a hard time distinguishing which of the two men were talking.
