I know what you're thinking: "Why the fuck is a man explaining the menopause to me?"

Fair question — and one I take seriously. I can't experience it, and as a result, I'll never know exactly what it feels like. But here's the thing: you don't need to live something to understand it. Think of the menopause journey like commuting across London. Everyone takes a different route. Some days are smooth, others are chaotic — cancelled trains, detours, roadworks — and there's always an angry cyclist involved. It's unpredictable, frustrating, and exhausting — just like the hormonal rollercoaster from peri to post.

This book doesn't claim to know your exact journey. So, rather than dismiss it based on my gender (which you just assumed), judge it for what it is: a digestible breakdown of everything we know about menopause— the biology, the symptoms, and what actually works, from HRT to nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle strategies. No fluff. No fearmongering. Just facts. An evidence-based roadmap you can follow. And for the record? Since men statistically make worse drivers, maybe it's not such a bad thing if one finally learns how to follow the GPS.
