So much familiar information.....

The world is already full of manipulators and now the rest of us can learn how to do it too. This book made me sad and sometimes angry but it also gives good information on how to tell when someone is trying to manipulate you. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

Interesting information

While manipulation has a usually negative connotation connected to it, this book plays out in a much more positive manner. This tackles a lot of what other self-improvement books about confidence or winning people over but from a different angle. I found the way people knowingly or unknowingly manipulate one another to be a rather interesting insight worth delving into. I think also being able to spot some of these things you might overlook without thinking about it was already worth the listen. It is short and has some good information within.

An Interesting Guide

Ever wanted to learn how to manipulate people or learn how to know when you are being manipulated? Then you should check out this book. Leonard Moore guides us through how to do this, whichever you choose. He also gives examples of the many ways, big and small, humans manipulate those around us. Manipulation is generally thought of as a bad thing but if used correctly, it can be a good thing to do. The choice is yours to make. The narration was well done and helped this to be an interesting listen instead of boring.

Adrenaline shot needed

Personally I struggled to finish as the narration did not strike a chord with me.

Good review of manipulation techniques

this is a great book if you are looking for a brief and quick matter on the subject of manipulation. you can skip Robert cialdini's book influence and presuasion and go directly to this book. it's a short book about 2 hours and a good listen.

Have you been manipulated to read this review ?

In the age of Trump its a good idea to sharpen your skills at manipulation and this Book is one of the tools
you can use to get there.

With a good Narrator you soon can be a master of your own fiefdom and perhaps a new power broker in the
next James Bond film or at least find yourself in the Trump administration.

Great Book

I thought this book was going to be about how to trick people and make them do what you want, but it really is a lot more positive than that. This is a great tool for anyone who is trying to get better at sales, come across as more confident at work, appear more attractive to potential love interests, or communicate better with family members. How we come across to other people makes up so much of our daily life. Whether we know it or not, we are constantly trying to convince people to do things. The book does describe various different methods of what I would consider negative manipulation, but I've found that it has helped me more to recognize when someone was trying to manipulate me, knowingly or not.

Read by Gene Blake, who sounds like Judd Hircsh from Indipendance Day.
