Don't believe all the fake 5 star reviews

Terrible, seems like it is poorly translated to English and then the poor translation is read by a robot

Very dumb book

Basically lists random facts and doesn’t teach you anything. Obviously your hand is attached to your arm and people are good at recognizing faces.

Terrible Narration

Do Not Get this “audiobook.” Narration is the worst of all audiobooks I’ve ever heard. It sounds robotic and has sentences that do not make sense. This issue is repeated multiple times every few minutes. If you get this audiobook, you’ll spend more time rewinding & trying to figure out what in the world is actually being said; rather than learning any applicable tools. Actual book would be better as I know a guy who speaks very highly of it.

Written and I suspect narrated by a bot

Feels like each topic had been culled from various websites - some of it reads fairly well but the content is weak. At other times the narration and prose is so broken it is hilarious. An excerpt from the section on master manipulators reads:

"A lot of usually than not, they possess rather superfluous information of a large kind of entities or events and don't hesitate to point that out once an applicable occasion arises. If one thing happened to you it'll suddenly get circled until what quantify they realize a definite topic."

Those aren't my typos - that is what the narrator said and didn't trip over it or question what the hell those sentences could mean, makes me think the narrator is a bot a well.

Audible should do a better job of filtering this garbage out.

awkward use of language

the way that this is written is distracting. I was hoping for something that I could listen to and learn, while I did learn, the way things are written and read out is distracting. one example of this, is instead of saying life is full of they say" life is choked with" now every now and then awkward language will be used but it almost seems like the person writing this wanted to prove how smart they were and instead of saying in normal everyday English wanted to look up a thesaurus for every sentence. this gets worse and worse as you get to the next book and then the next book. there were multiple times I had to pause and think about what was being said in order to decipher what they were saying. I would not recommend this book for anyone even if they are interested in the topic. the lack of any cohesive phrasing of sentences is not only distracting but it actively stops you from learning the point that the book is trying to teach.

TLDR: the writer refuses to use common English in order to prove he's Superior to you!

Hard To Listen To

The narrator is very monotone.
Book 3 is miserable to listen to. It's as if someone went behind the author, selected random words, and used the thesaurus to replace the correct word with a similar word that didn't make sense in that context. It seems like they tried way too hard to come off as intelligent, but it actually incoherent.

This book feels like A.I.

I had great hopes for this series of books, it seemed like great value for the price, however, the more I listened to it, the more it began to sound like the original writings had been translated by a digital translator. Very strange and quite disturbing. It was almost like the whole series had been created by A.I. without a human being involved, the voice was cold, very monotone, and rather discombobulated. After a while I just couldn't listen to it any more. It's a shame, I really wanted to learn more about these subjects.

Review

Badly written and non specific. I expected less vagary and the English especially in the last chapter was poor. It sounded as if a computer were reading it.
