If you're a "law of attraction" or "the promise" fan you'll love this book. Neville Goddard is one of the first to write about the law of attraction. His books will make you think... and then you'll hopefully manifests all your dreams.

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

I enjoyed Neville's take on the bible passages. I find his viewpoints interesting and thought provoking.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed Mark Mannings narrative and love his accent.

I Think, Therefore I Am

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The concept that undergirds this audiobook is quite intriguing: that miracles manifest themselves when our desires are made conscious. We are poor because our consciousness is "I AM poor". When we develop an "I AM wealthy" consciousness, wealth follows. The author claims the same is true with all desires.

The problem I had with this audiobook is that it was soooo heady! I don't have a problem with books that are intellectually demanding; that is NOT what I'm saying. This audiobook required me to follow the words SO intently that listening to it became laborious for me.

For me to enjoy a book, I need to connect emotionally with some aspect of the book. Sometimes it's the story. Sometimes it's how the author's personality shines through. Sometimes it's the images that are formed in my mind while listening-but there must be something!

Unfortunately, none of these things were true for me with this audiobook.

A new concept for me

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would only recommend this audiobook to friends that are open minded. This audiobook doesn't exactly line up with all Christian beliefs. Take what you need or choose to and leave what you don't.

What did you like best about this story?

I thought that many of the referenced principles of the audiobook did indeed line up with my beliefs.

Which scene was your favorite?

Nothing in particular.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Nothing in particular.

Neville was such a gift to humanity

This book is as good as any of Neville's works! I highly recommend it.

This review requires at least 15 words and apparently I still only had 14 after the second sentence! 😁

Great Questions Answered.

The second part of the book is worth the wait. After you get through the first part, which is a formal Goddard text, the Q and A is short and gets straight to the point at hand.

God?

Many people are put off when hearing the three letter word God mentioned. They really are missing the point.
