Stories that capture different aspects of India

Sudha Murthy eloquently pens down her experiences with different people as she travels across India. The stories showcase varied human tendencies such a selflessness, greed, contentment, social responsibility. Certain parts are pedantic rather than descriptive, but can be forgiven as the author has been a teacher by profession. I was mesmerized by the different situations described in the short stories. Some of the stories are gut wrenching and capture the harsh reality of the society we live in. The stories are inspirational and reflective.
