amazing book

this has become my favorite book, i read it once and have listened to it several times already. i greatly look forward to where this story is going

Very Good

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was interesting with great action wonderful romance and great developing friendships! The characters are marvelous and well developed. There are a plethora of interesting things to develop in the future! I can’t wait for the next audiobook! Tess Irondale does an excellent job and certainly adds to the appeal of this wonderful book!

Good story more pg13 than rated r 18+

Not sure who is writing up the bios or each of these books. But this one definitely was pg not R . Still will give it another. Look when book two comes out

great listen

genuinely surprised at how easy it was to keep listening to this book. some of the mechanics ate questionable but it is still very entertaining to listen to

A wonderful book and perfect performance.

First the book itself is incredibly fun and has so many hints to a deeper background that it makes you want to read more just to try and learn more of the great world the characters inhabit, both worlds I should say.

The characters are wonderful and Miss Irondale gets their mannerisms down so well that reading along made the laughter and accents of the speaking parts really stand out.

Miss Irondale really stood out reading this as it has a number of sections where stats are read out and each was done in a flowing and clear manner that must have been hard to get through, yet she does. I cannot recommend the book series and Miss Ted's Irondale enough. a fantastic buy.

very well done

all right so I'm familiar with some of this author's work. One of us series is complete and one that I am waiting on bated breath for the next installment. Well I wait I decided to try another series from this author and I have to say I'm loving it. this book was a good opener especially considering that the specific writing type is new to the author. At the time of this review the first two books are available in audio form and the third one is available as an ebook. Book for supposed to be out December 14th. I'm moving on the book to right now and I've already purchase book 3 as an e-book so I'm going to say I recommend the series.

Amazing

The book was a great surprise. Narration was superb as always involving Tess. The plot was fast paced and well thought out. Characters are exciting and thoughtful. Can't wait for the next book.

The story almost got me, but it's a trap...

I'm writing this after listening to book 2 of this series. While I'm still willing to say book 1 was enjoyable, I'm glad I saved writing a review until listening to book 2.

The setting is really interesting. Post WW3 environment, Virtual gaming is a suitable source of income, and an MC having to meet an impossible goal to save the damsel(s) in distress. Tess Irondale does a beautiful job, which she does with nearly all her audiobooks.

He has great skill and is "lucky" enough to get challenging and rewarding quests and it's cool to see the litrpg elements at work and the slow but steady progression of the story.

the book ends at a good spot and I rushed to get book 2...unfortunately that's where everything changes...*review continues in book 2*

Story

I like the concept of the story. But the character development and game mechanics are trash like broken it drove me crazy.

for people who love lit RPGs and anime

I truly enjoyed this book by Brandon varnell it is a great book and a great lit RPG with really likable characters. an MC that I know that I can easily find myself sympathizing for. and offer cause that is worth fighting for and narrated by Trish Irondale a fantastic narrator who should be complimented on her own talents and skills bundle this up and one book and I'm telling you now you'll be wanting the next one very soon at least I do.
