Fun!

Super, super fun contemporary romance that will make you laugh. These authors delivered on this one!

I'm a huge Sarina Bowen fan, but I've never read Tanya Eby before so I was curious to see how I would enjoy their collaboration. Verdict: A LOT.

I listend to Man Hands in audio format, and I think that the narrators just killed it. There is a reason why Luke Daniels is in Audible's narrator hall of fame. Erin Mallon also rocks it out- they just both really deliver.

Let me tell you, friends, if you ever had a fantasy about a younger Mike Rowe (and who hasn't), then this book is for you. I kept picturing him, all sweaty and manly and handy, and combined with the husky and full of humor voice of Luke Daniels, it just worked for me.

Man Hands is a contemporary romance that doesn't take itself too seriously. It was EXACTLY what I was craving. It is funny, friendship-forward, body positive, and low-drama, which is just what I need at this point in my life. Sure, it won't revolutionize the romance genre, but I enjoyed it a whole hell of a lot, and I can see myself spending MANY hours listening to the entire series in audio-format.

Recommended for all my friends who love audiobooks, and who are ready to take a break from the serious stuff. It is worth your time.

There’s a fine line between raunchy and wrong

... but this book doesn’t just walk the line; it does a bonkers, mouthy victory dance all along that rom-com conga line. Holy bazongas, Batman, that was a salty, hilarious good time!
From crazy, double dog-daring, gonna get you arrested girlfriends to ghost erections and a talking Johnson, this had me laugh-snorting along.

Two things to consider: 1) The number of F bombs is off the charts (like, Guinness record level). 2) Luke Daniel’s narration is way too slow, especially when paired with Erin Mallon’s zippy, sassy one. Also, if you’ve listened to Daniels narrate the Preternatural Chronicles, it might be hard to separate Tom’s talking Johnson from the oaf of a vampire, John. But, hey, a talking Johnson is already on the weird side, right? I bumped the speed to 1.3x, put on my Chelsea Handler, filthy listening hat, and enjoyed this tequila shot to the heart. Salt, Tequila, Lime, people!

This is the best of the four books in the series, but I also recommend:

Book 2: Man Card: Ash & Braught’s story- it takes hate-flirting to whole new levels! 4⭐️

Book 3: Boy Toy: Sadie & Liam’s story- overplays the MILF/divorcée side,
considering he’s 29 and she’s 35, but still 3⭐️

Book 4: Man Cuffed: Meg & Mac’s story- unfortunately devoid of Brynn, Ash, and Sadie,
this is only loosely tied to the series through Meg being Sadie’s sister.
While still funny, the story is over-burdened with angst and the narration doesn’t work. 2⭐️

Hilarious!

Ive laughed so many times with this book! It’s a light and sweet story. The female is very relatable. I wish there are more stories about 30-something-year-old men and women.

Erin is great as usual. This is my first book that Luke narrated and he is perfect as Tom! Great job on casting!

So, so funny. The perfect story with heat, humor, amazing character development and a story that makes you want to keep listening!
Erin Mallon and Luke Daniels were perfection and this is definitely one of those audios you will listen to numerous time!

Mr. Fixit and Brynn’s Bites

Can’t stop LMAO!!! This.book.is.AWWWWESOME!! Bryn is a new divorcée’ and her friends invite her to a party to let loose...see Brynn has let her ex squish her enthusiasm for life over their 5yr marriage, then to top it off...she was let go from her teaching job because her ex-FIL was the head of the department. So, yea, Brynn needs a pick me up! Upon arrival at the party, she spots her ex w a younger version of herself. Her friends advise her to kiss the first man who makes eye contact. She spots the gardener and launches herself onto him. What ensues is a hot n sweaty tryst in the boathouse...& then Brynn flees...leaving her chocolate bunnies underwear behind. And that’s only the beginning of the story!!! The gardener turns out to be Mr Fixit, the star that has several seasons of his own TV show. There’s a viral video, a fake engagement and exes, to keep this story at the ‘laugh til you cry’ level. It’s all worth it when you get to the super sweet ending. Can’t wait for the next book!

So funny

This audiobook was expertly narrated and hilarious. I loved this silly, charming, screwball love story!

The word Hilarious doesn't cut it!

I cannot say enough good about this book!! I took a chance on it on a whim seeing as thought I had never even heard of the authors but I am SO glad that I did because it is definitely a gem to be had. I was drawn in from the beginning by how relatable all of the characters were. If I could jump into a book or bring characters out of a book I would make Brynn my best friend. She is amazing! I found myself laughing out loud so many times during this book, I'm sure I got some looks when I was in public. I don't care, though, because Man Hands is worth being labeled a crazy person for. ;)

This was my first experience hearing Luke Daniels and he was amazing! I could listen to him read the dictionary. haha He really brought Tom to life.
Erin Mallon was brilliant as always! She always does such a great job at helping you to not only hear the story but experience the story.

Hysterical and clever!

First book by these authors and I was not disappointed at all. Absolutely worth the credit! Loved the writing and Luke Daniels and Erin Mallon delivered! Can’t wait to listen to the others.
