Publisher's Summary

A sexy new stand-alone comedy.

Ash

I still don't know how it happened. One minute, I was arguing with my arrogant competitor - our usual trash-talk over who deserves the larger commission. But somehow, I went from throwing down to kneeling down.... It can never happen again. I don't even like him. He's too slick. He's a manipulating, mansplaining party boy in preppy clothes. So why can't I get him out of my head?

Sebastian

There are two things I know without question. One: Ash and I are destined for each other. Two: never trust a man with a unibrow. Ash is my missing my piece. She's the sweet cream to my gourmet espresso. And nothing gets me going faster than her contempt for me. They don't call her the Ashkicker for nothing. Eventually I'll win her over...if my past doesn't ruin everything first.

Power Braht For The Win!

Overall: 5 stars
Performance: 5 stars
Story: 4.5 stars

This is another fun and hilarious book from Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby. This enemies to lovers story features Braht and Ash, who were introduced in the previous book, Man Hands. Though this is book 2 in the Man Hands series, it can be enjoyed as a stand alone.

I absolutely love Erin Mallon and Luke Daniels. Their narration truly makes the story shine. Both are just the right amount of sexy and sweet, but they can also deliver some seriously laugh out loud dialogue. Braht and Ash were such fun and quirky characters. It was Braht though, who really stole the show. He was so adorkable that I couldn't keep the smile from my face. There is a little drama because of both of their pasts, but the majority of the story focuses on the delicious sexual tension between these two. The story overall wasn't as captivating to me as Man Hands was, but it was still an entertaining, lighthearted, and fun listen/read!

I loved checking in with Sadie, Tom, and Brynn, and I was happy to see that the friendships are just as strong in this book as they were before. I'm really looking forward to Sadie's story next and can't wait to listen to it as well!

the absolute best!

hilarious, sweet, hootttt!!!! i fell in LOVE with Brat particularly when reading the ebook & couldn't wait for the audiobook to come out. he's the quintessential metrosexual: totally embracing his feminine side & therefore even more viril. Ash is also absolutely fabulous. the intrigue/suspense part balanced out just right. i highly recommend this book!!

What dictates a man card

This book helps define a man that many may consider being arrogant and Remy. I think Sebastian is sexy and a try man. His actions speak loudly.

Wow. Hilarious. Wonderful.

I loved this audiobook. The narrations are perfect. You can tell the both narrators feel their respective characters. This is a romcom heavy on the comedy, so they make it work perfectly. I loved the story, but the narration enhances the appeal of the book. And that is great.

Oh man! This book is hilarious. Man Card is the second installment in the Man Hands series and is a standalone, though I believe it is better to read them in order. But that’s just me.

Braht! You will not believe this guy. He is so over the top! He is also sweet, considerate, smart and beautiful. At least according to Ash, his nemesis, and the girl of his dreams. They are rivals, both realtors working for the same firm, and totally attracted to each other. Braht wants nothing more than to convince Ash they are ment to be. Ash wants nothing to do with him. At first. But after the incident in Brynn’s pantry, resisting her attraction to him proves to be impossible.

Like I said, this book is hilarious. I don’t know another word to describe it. It defines it. It’s a given you will laugh. Out. Loud. Maybe even roll on the floor. Even fall out of your chair. It’s a given. This is not only a funny story, it has depth. It has meaning and a few points to make. You’ll see. The characters are awesome, the situations they go through are hilarious, and the way the story evolves is simply perfect. The inner dialogues are fantastic, freaking fantastic. You’ll fall in love with Ash and Braht while they fall in love with each other. It’s a win-win all around.

Eh Just OK

Easy listen. Not bad, not great. No instalove, no instalust, no cliffhanger, no tears, no angst. HEA.

This is a love story about Ash and Sebastian. They are both real estate agents in the same firm (they were introduced in Book 1) and are really competitive and play jokes on each other. Sebastian actually likes her and she succumbs to him once (in Book 1) before accidentally presenting him as her fake boyfriend, Hunter, to her parents and they spend Canadian Thanksgiving together. They things really start to heat up!

I wasn't a huge fan of Man Card (Book 1) so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I'm not blown away by Book 2. However, I loved how Ash and Sebastian fought with each other - I like that kind of fun banter. And the beginning on this book had that and it was fun. However, toward the end, this book lost me. They were facing a couple issues, but they didn't communicate with each other about it. (I hate when couples don't communicate and then create their own problems because of it.) Nevertheless, it didn't cause a huge issue, but still bugged me. Anyway, this writing just isn't for me. It comes off a bit immature for me.

As she waits for him, her ex Dwight goes to his house to confront her. Sebastian saves her and the police take Dwight away. Sebastian admits to Ash what his parents did to her parents. Fantastic!

Luke Daniels is a revelation!!! This story is the perfect blend of humor and drama. I adore both characters, their friends...everything about this is win, and the narrations impeccable. Erin Mallon is consistently great, and Luke is a next level narrator. He is perfect. Love it!

I have a mixed opinions.

At times, lol funny. Then other moments I question the characters a bit. Possibly cuz it felt slightly New Adult. I will say it's a solid 3.5 stars at least.
