Coehlo read by Ballerini = perfection
While the audiobook is new, the work is actually from 1994 and serves with ‘Warrior of the Light’ as co-companion pieces to the Alchemist.
However the reader needs to understand this is nothing like a follow-up, sequel, etc … it is simply a collection of brief tales, retellings of anecdotes and parables much like those at the heart of the Alchemist.
That it is brief is very much to its benefit - yet there will be some passages with enough impact that you’ll wish to pause the audiobook and write them down.
And again, anything read by Ballerini is going to exceed expectations - and his reading of Coehlo is as good as it can possibly get.
