Fantastic series - but female narrator drives me nuts

I absolutely adore this series, BUT the female narrator is seriously driving me nuts with the weird way she says a lot of words - such as “calf” and “everything” I don’t know that I’d call it an accent, it’s more like just a weird way of saying the words. But regardless it won’t stop me from moving on to book 3. Series is amazing and spicey and Cain and Remington are just swoooooon worthy 🔥🔥🔥

Make Me Beg is book 2 in the Rich Demons of Dark wood series. Its a dark, reverse harem, make sure to read the Trigger Warnings!!

We pick up right where we left off in Make Me Lie, and it's a hell of a wild ride right from the start!

Aurora is out to get revenge on the guys, and some of the things she does are EPIC! What she does to Cain is my favorite!

No matter how hard they try to fight it, there are definitely some feelings getting involved on all sides. Cain, Pax, Remington and Stellan have all gotten under Auroras skin, and she has done the same to them.

The spice in this book is SUPERB and the twists will keep you guessing. That cliffhanger has me so ready to see what's coming in book 3! Thank you for this AMAZINGNESS, CR and May 😘😘

what a great job by author

I've listened to/read so many books of this genre and the authors did a amazing job at keeping each character intertwined with aurora without being to ridiculous and unrealistic and making the character just look sleezy. I enjoyed listening to series.

The chaos continues!

After the way book 1 ended, I definitely was hoping for a smidge more justice for our little devil haha. I needed them all to feel like POS for that stunt they pulled at the party. But this book definitely was a turning point for a lot of characters and their relationship with Aurora. Excited to dive into book 3, especially with that cliffhanger she left us on.

This series is mind blowing

I love this series. I really hope the next book comes out soon. It’s got great narrators and it’s a great story.

great book and audiobook!

I started this series on my kindle and was ecstatic they turned it into an audiobook! so technically the second time listening/reading this series! i can't wait for the rest of the series in audiobooks to be released! definitely worth a credit!!! this series is so different and keeps you enthralled!

Please get a new narrator for the rest of the series

I really tried to grin and bear it through listening to the story. The narrator for the MFC just does not fit the character and the acting does nothing to help the experience. There were a couple brief moments where the actor actually used a more substantial voice with more depth and I was almost able to hear the character come to life. Unfortunately, the actor then defaulted back to the bs baby voice. That coupled with consistent mispronunciations and an overall flat performance just ruined the listening experience. I can’t listen to another reading by that narrator. I suppose I’ll reread the rest of the series and cross my fingers for a recast when the rest of the audiobooks come out.
