This is my 1st time hearing Napoleon Hill’s work. My coworker recommends this author to everyone, so I chose a short audiobook to get started.
SPOILER ALERT, LAST CHANCE TO SKIP OVER THIS REVIEW!!!!
Advice given by Napoleon Hill in this audiobook:
Pay for life insurance, create a budget, invest, have an emergency fund, share the wealth, fast (starve) with your doctors permission, test your willpower by quitting a vice like smoking, think positively, don’t talk about an injury or illness, believe you can do things, something about God and deep religious understanding, keep your mind off things you don’t want, financial prosperity can only be created with establishing a prosperity consciousness.
He briefly mentions interviewing Andrew Carnegie, which I’m not entirely sure if that had actually happened. It seems like a lot of our current self-help and financial prosperity books had been based off Napoleon Hill’s writings.
The narrator was great. I’m not sold on Napoleon Hill’s teachings, but this was my 1st introduction to his work... I feel like most of his books will be on similar topics, but I could be wrong, that definitely happens. On to the next audiobook!
Skeptical, but open minded
