Alan Taylor again performs this book with perfection. I am so glad he was kept on as the narrator, he has come to be the Montana community for me with his warm, baritone voice.

A sweet, clean western, mail order bride historical fiction. Book 4 in the series finds the new doctor trying to find out who thinks he needs a bride. Winona Campbell answers the ad but doesn't think she will be chosen. Will she leave her addled mother or will she be able to take her along? This series is pleasing to listen to, especially on a 105° day.

Any additional comments?
This is short sweet and to the point with likeable characters you can relate to. I loved the mystery of who ordered the doc a bride which you will find out at the end. Winona wants to get married but must take care of her mother who health is failing fast. She would love a little adventure, a new place but knows she must stay where she is to help take care of the family she has left to her. Picking up the newspaper and reading the ads she does find one ad that holds her interest and decided to write to the doctor. Robson is surprised to be getting letters as he shakes his head wondering who placed this ad for him. One letter holds his attention the honest he just has to write back. A friendship starts neither feel they can marry. Where will it lead.Mr. Taylor does a wonderful job of narration from the many different characters to the feel of emotions. You never are in doubt just who is talking or what they are feeling. I found both his female and male voices to be a delight from the strong male to the soft female you could really feel the pain, sorrow, and happiness he gives them. I heard no background noise or any places where the volume changes. There are no repeating of words just a wonderful delightful listen. If any breaks where taken I could not tell. His voice is strong and clear giving you a delightful listen. His performance is outstanding from the emotion to his voices he really make the story come alive. He is a very talented narrator that pulls the listener in giving a very vivid listen that you can picture the scenes in your mind.
If you are looking for a short sweet read that is fun, with sorrow, love and pain but does make you smile you should give this one a try. It is well written with a very good plot that keeps you interested.
