Mail Order Bride: Widowed, Jilted, and Pregnant on the Wagon Train West is a truly emotional and spellbinding story of a fiercely independent French woman who is first widowed, and then pregnant, then jilted by the man she corresponded with to become his mail order bride. After the long journey from Europe to the US, she decides to undertake an even longer and far more hazardous one, when she joins a wagon train and a family on their way to Salt Lake City. After a few days they begin calling her Lioness, and she soon proves that she can live up to the name.

OMG this book is about polygamy!

Let me just say upfront that I’m a very open minded person and I respect everyone, but as for the Latter Day Saints a religion based on stolen tablets that Brigham Young claimed was given to him by God. When in reality they were stolen from an antique dealer. Having said that let me just say I was flabbergasted by this but it was about polygamy adding a pregnant widow who corresponded with A middle-age cobbler in St. Louis who didn’t show up to receiver, because his wife refuse for him to add another wife. Not to worry though she needs hottie who is married to call into Sara and Tamyra. I won’t say more as I don’t want to spoil it, but what I will say is that should’ve said this in the summary I pay good money for books and I hate to waste them on books I wouldn’t normally buy. My religion doesn’t practice polygamy and I am not curious about it nor do I want to read about it. I will say this book was cute I did kind of like it the whole polygamy thing just threw me off. I didn’t expect this from Vanessa Corvo, but I know you got the right for everyone and she does and I love her writing just not this book.

too stiff

What did you like best about Mail Order Bride: Widowed, Jilted, & Pregnant on the Wagon Train West? What did you like least?

I liked the story line, sort of. I didn't like the fact that it was too stiff. The words didn't feel natural.

Would you ever listen to anything by Vanessa Carvo again?

Not unless I have too.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Tina Marie Shuster?

idk

Was Mail Order Bride: Widowed, Jilted, & Pregnant on the Wagon Train West worth the listening time?
