Publisher's summary

Dawson, Montana isn't what Rebecca Walker bargained for when she answered Jake Henderson's ad for a bride. Jake captivates her, but Rebecca has a lot to learn about him. Jake isn't sure if Rebecca can adjust, but her beauty and her musical ability casts a spell on him. As Christmas nears, they'll have to compromise or be trapped in a loveless marriage.

Happy to recommend it

Rebecca's happy life does an about-turn when the news breaks that her father has been involved in some shady dealings and the result is that she now has to work in order to survive and she hates it and the fact that she is now being snubbed by people she used to mingle with.
Her answer is to find herself a man to marry by becoming a mail order bride.
She replies to Jake's advert and decides to meet him.
He owns a saloon, has been married before but doesn't have children.
Linda Bridey has written a most enjoyable love story which J. Scott Bennett has brought to life with his excellent narration.
I found it to be quite an emotional book with moments of happiness and grief, scenes of excitement and achievement and throughtout, a building of a strong love between these two very unusual people.
I am quite happy to recommend this book or the audiobook version.
I was provided with this audiobook at no charge by the author and this is my unbiased review.
