Publisher's summary

Felicity wasn't expecting Noah Call to meet her at the train station. She was expecting Peter, the successful rancher and businessman she had agreed to marry. She had put aside everything at home, all on the strength of a few letters, to become a mail order bride. Now the man she had said she would marry couldn't even be bothered to meet her in person.

Noah Call is a rough, no-nonsense rancher who doesn't put up with Felicity's high-handed city ways. As she travels to Peter's ranch, she wonders if she has made a terrible mistake. Is she cut out to be a mail order bride?

But is there more to the strange Noah Call than meets the eye? What really happened at the burned-out ranch buildings they pass en route? And what secrets lurk within Felicity's new home?

This is a clean, Christian Western romance with a mail order bride theme.

The voice makes it for me

I normally wouldn't find this subject to be entertaining, but hearing the book voiced by Angel Clark has made me unable to refuse listening. Felicity's story is so intriguing because of Clark's clear passion for being a talented orator. I am eager to read Frontier Bride and see if it is done as well as Ice Bride!

Lovely!

What a sweet story. Peter sent for a bride and it was the bride that got a wonderful surprise.
Angel Clark is a good narrator. She knows how to deliver.

Felicity and Peter

This was a sweet, clean mail order bride story. Noah picks up Felicity to take her to Peter. What he did not tell her is that he is Peter. There were also two surprises after they get to Peter's home. Angel Clark did a good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Looks can be deceiving

Quick book and a interesting story. Narration was good. Felicity has come a long way to be a mail order bride to Peter. When she finally steps off the train, Peter isn't there to meet her. Noah, a rude cowboy is with his horse. Now how is she supposed to get her belongings to the ranch. They finally agree to leave them there and will send for them later. Felicity is tired and upset at the circumstances and can't wait to meet Peter and see her new home. Only thing is she has to get there on a horse. Can things get any worse, yes they can.

Mail Order Bride is NOT met by intended

Expecting her intended to meet her on arrival at the train depot, a mail order bride is shocked when a different man arrives and insists that she may not bring her trunks on the next part of their journey. At less than 1 hour, this is the perfect little story to sandwich in between longer series. Some books in this Ashwood mail order bride series are impossible to find, but since they are very loosely linked....

A very short story, but good storyline and engaging characters. I enjoyed it. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was good.
