Great!

Clean, fun, entertaining and sweet stories. If you love clean mail order bride stories you will love these 10 stories as I do. The narration was awesome the stories were great you can’t beat that for one credit. I am so glad I got the best book. It would’ve been worth buying individually so together just makes it a better bargain. I loved all the stories Emily I think was my favorite though.

Short and sweet

Each story is short and sweet... all connecting to each other so you still hear about the characters in the previous story while learning about the new couple.

Great adventure

I loved meeting all the characters that lived in Faith Creek and going in their stories, and how they use the mail order of ride.

Language not clean

For books that billed themselves as "clean and wholesome" I was surprised and disappointed to hear foul language included. To most people, clean and wholesome means clean language among other things. I could not figure out what the authors purpose was.

Easy and fun

The books are an easy read, with fun characters, TEXAS, and learning about love as the main topics.
The narrators were adequate, although a number of words were mispronounced, leaving this English teacher a bit perplexed as to why the mistakes were not corrected during editing. ('Copse' and 'minute' [meaning very small - mi-nute] are two which come to memory quickly.) Otherwise, good and lighthearted listening for distance traveling.

Sweet and satisfying romances!

I am amazed at how much variety the author was able to create with the same format without having the characters feel like copy and paste versions of each other. I've read more famous authors who don't even pull that off. Very sweet reads with affectionate romances and a town that slowly becomes more and more prosperous thanks to the fresh blood. Definitely a comfort listen for me from now on!

Very refreshing.

I so enjoyed these stories. I love American history and particularly stories from Texas. The romance was so sweet. I could really imagine these characters being my ancestors. I’m looking forward to stating the next set.

10 short stories.

I liked that these are clean books that you could listen to even if the kids are in the car. Almost the whole town seems to be mail order brides. Which I think must of been the way the west was in those years with few women. Good listening.

The stories were sweet & resolved without unneeded angst. The characters were varied & interesting !

The narration was varied and nice to have both men & women BUT there were many words that were mispronounced and that drove me crazy. It seems that if you’re reading an historical novel, you’d make sure you were reading the words correctly. It distracted from the stories. I did enjoy the back & forth perspectives of the male and female characters & the satisfying resolutions. Enjoyable!
