Publisher's summary

Now available as a bundle box set, all four books in the Montana Passion Brides series.

Book 1: Bargain for a Bride

When Lady Moira Brennan leaves her home at Brennan Castle for the wilds of her own homestead claim in the Montana territory, she has no idea that a husband awaits her. Sold into marriage by her uncle, she arrives to find a bleak landscape of scarce farmers, all desperately trying to scratch out a living on their claims. Pryor MacAteer came to Montana himself only three years ago, and his farm has prospered. All that he needs to make it complete is a wife and family, one whose passage he paid, and whose name is on the marriage contract. Will Moira realize her dream of owning her own land and uncover the truth behind a marriage contract with her name on it?

Book 2: Freedom for a Bride

When Nathaniel Russell received the wonderful news that the bride he'd written off for would be arriving in New Hope, Montana, it was the happiest he'd felt since arriving to settle his claim. And when the strikingly beautiful, but somewhat exotic-looking Katia stepped off the train, his heart leapt at the fulfillment of their months of exchanging letters. But Katia carries secrets that no one in the town expected, secrets that run deep enough to keep them apart forever.

Book 3: Adventure for a Bride

When Anna Mae Flynn passes away, leaving three small children and a husband with a harvest to bring in, the only logical answer is to find Wyatt another wife...quick. He fights everyone at first, even himself, but he knows their logic is sound and their hearts are in the right place. But Millie Carter is nothing like Wyatt's dear Anna Mae, a fact that his grief causes him to point out at every turn. Can Millie win over a heartbroken man, or will the next train through New Hope take her home?

Book 4: Dreaming of a Bride

When Torsten O'Conner's false love leaves him for another man, he decides a change of scenery just might be in order. His brother, Kieran, is now the mayor of New Hope, Montana, and the prospect of putting Ireland far behind him and starting fresh as a homesteader in America might be just the thing. But the life of a homesteader isn't just hard, it's brutally lonely. At his friends' urging, Torn writes off for a wife from the east, only to have a villain from his past arrive on the train. Can Torn let go of his old feelings and put down his demons in order to take a chance on love?

Exactly as advertised – really nice romances

Mail order bride
Montana passions

This collection contains four stories written by Amelia Rose and narrated by Charles D Baker.

1. A bargain for a bride introduces us to Lady Moria Brennan, a noble woman who races from an arranged marriage in Ireland to a man she doesn't love. When she arrives, Moira is not a fan of the lifestyle and scene of Montana.

Pryor MacAteer's homestead in Montana is missing a wife/companion. Will the strange contract for which he paid passage for a bride work out?

I really enjoyed the shenanigans of Moira as she finds out what is important to her and what she wants from life.

2. Freedom for a bride follows the story of Nathaniel and Katia, a Russian mail-order bride! Is a language barrier the least of the problems for this couple? The friends from "a bargain for a bride" try to help this really peculiar circumstance.

3. Adventure for a bride opens with the passing of Anna Mae, Wyatt Flynn's wife and mother to their three children. Wyatt is beyond despair but Pryor MacAteer demands he finds a new wife and quickly. Millie Carter is the woman to fill the shoes of Anna Mae! Of course she cannot, but will her ways change the heart of this very angry man?

4. Dreaming of a bride – Torsten has one mishap after another in trying to acquire a mail-order bride!

As advertised, a collection of clean, Western, historical romances – very innocent and nothing to offend. Exactly what I expect from Amelia Rose as an author.

I'm not sure how I feel about Charles D Baker as a narrator. One half of the time he seems to be a perfect narrator but the other half of the time I find his performance (especially when laughing) as hokey and what one would assume a backwoods, hillbilly to sound like. That is why I am giving him an average score of three stars.

I was given this book in exchange for my unbiased review. If you found the review to be helpful, would you please take a moment and select "yes" below? Please consider following me on audible. I review from many genres – my favorite are contemporary romance & espionage! Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

Unexpected Pleasant Surprise..

Any additional comments?

- Book 1 : A Bargain for a Bride: Montana Passion

Moira, the female lead, left her Home for America to protect her brother and to avoid an arranged marriage.

Next, She decides to become a landowner in Montana.

When she arrives in Montana she meets Pryor. the male lead, and he offers her a marriage contract.

Things aren't what they "seem".

There is an underhanded scheme going on while the romance develops slowly.

Overall, this book was a quick, clean western romance.

- Book 2 : Freedom For A Bride

Nathaniel, the male lead, of the story is excited to finally meet, Katia, the female lead.

Katia has secrets and Nathaniel is in for a few surprises.

There is a lot going on in this story and many characters, including Moira's brother, Lord Ronan Brennan.

There are several happy endings in this story line and is a great addition to any Library.

- Book 3 : Adventure For A Bride

Wyatt, the male lead, is grieving over the loss of his wife.

He is left with three children and allows his friends to talk him into of a new wife, now enters Millie, the female lead.

Many people have something to say about Wyatt's situation, his children and his treatment of Millie.

There are a few twists and the story moves quickly which led to an interesting and pleasant read.

- Book 4 : Dreaming Of A Bride

The story starts off with Torsten, the male lead, who is at the train station to meet his mail order bride, Ginny.

As she gets off the train, she sees Torn being hugged by another female.

From that point feelings are hurt, assumptions fly, and someone from Torn's past is trying to cause trouble.

The book was not as good as the first three books in this series. It was unclear about the notes that Ginny found.

I was curious, about the notes, and wanted to know more about them and Tom's reactions and thoughts when Ginny confronted Torn.

Charles D. Baker's narration did really well with the different character voices and accents.

Were the stories good or was the narrator wonderful?

The stories were very nice. They will give you all the emotions across the grid. I was surprised. However, don't expect lavish romance. The plot comes first and the love is woven through.

Now for the narrator... he did a wonderful job and kept me interested when I might of trailed off from the story around book 2. I'm glad I stayed because the books are good.

Excellent

I loved each story. Book 1 was about Moira and Pryor who meet under unusual circumstances. He was expecting a mail order bride, she was expecting to make good on her claim. They both got more than they expected in the bargain and helped to create a community for New Hope.
Book 2 is the continuation of the story. We met Nathaniel in Book 1 and he is expecting his mail order bride now. But she is not what he expected and has some secrets that appear to derail the marriage but are actually a foundation for it. There is a language barrier thrown in as well. This was another fun listen. Katia gets all that she hoped for and more in this deal and Nate gets the love of his life. The angst is so funny in this one. i loved that Gretchen found love in this one also.
Book 3 is a story of love rising out of the ashes of tragedy. Anna Mae is the love of Wyatt's life and holds him prisoner even though she is dead. This causes problems for the mail order bride that Wyatt is cohersed into sending for because he has three children who need help while he does what it takes to keep his land. This was a continuation of the story and brought in more characters and more love stories within the story.
Book 4 was the funniest one of all. A five foot seven fully muscled man is the one having the problems. He longs for love after a terrible heartbreak but can't seem to catch a break in finding it. So many mishaps and delays but true love proved to be an elusive goal but it did finally happen.
I was given this book in exchange for an unbiased review via audiobook boom. Loved it.
