Publisher's summary

In Maid for the Billionaire Dominic Corisi knew instantly that Abigail Dartley was just the distraction he was looking for, especially since having her took a bit more persuading than he was used to. So when business forces him to fly to China, he decides to take her with him, but on his terms. No promises. No complications. Just sex.

Abby has always been the responsible one. She doesn't believe in taking risks; especially when it comes to men - until she meets Dominic. He's infuriating and intoxicating, a heady combination.

Their trip to China revives a long forgotten side of Abby, but also reveals a threat to bring down Dominic's company. With no time to explain her actions, Abby must either influence the outcome of his latest venture and save his company or accept her role as his mistress and leave his fate to chance. Does she love him enough to risk losing him for good?

4 Maid for the Billionaire Stars

I love a woman who doesn’t take so grief from a man, especially a powerful and wealthy man.
I didn’t really know what to think going in to this book, I went in blind like I like to. And I have to say kind of glad I did.

Dominic, a powerful man loses his father to death. He isn’t to heart broken about it but he doesn’t want to deal with the aftermath either. He isn’t a guy who takes no very well. Probably because he doesn’t get told it very much like at all. So right there Abby peaks his interest because she does say no and she says it in a big way.

When he sees Abby in his house cleaning, she was helping her sick sister so she wouldn’t lose her job. Sparks fly between the two. Only Abby doesn’t act like Dom expects.
Abby who is used to taking care of everyone since her parents died, doesn’t let anyone steam roll her. I loved that she is a teacher though she has the tough yet soft way about her.

The push and pull with these characters is really neat to read about. I laughed and smiled so much in this book. Even the secondary characters pull you in. I want to know more about her sister Lily and Dom’s mom. Oh and Jake, he seems like an intriguing guys to say the least.

But the ending was kind of funny after they land…. Yeah I won’t give it away but It was another great read to get me out of the one book head space I was in. Fun feel good book this one is.

The narration was well done, I liked it just fine. I really enjoyed the book as a whole.

Love it! :O)

Would you consider the audio edition of Maid for the Billionaire to be better than the print version?

No not really.. I like them both the same.... They both still make me use my imagination... With the print version is what I read that makes me imaging and with the audio edition it's what I hear that makes me imagine... They are both great...

What other book might you compare Maid for the Billionaire to and why?

The Billionaire wins the game by Melody Ann... They both have good women that fall for men that have jerk tendencies. Who think that they can get whatever they want because they have a lot of money... And who fall hard for these women and once they fall that's it.. they are caught hook line and sinker forever...

What does Kim Bubbs bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings a life to the characters that you don't get from reading... you only have your imagination then no voice for any of the characters... Although she can't really bring a voice to the males that fit since she's a female. But at least the females get a voice... lol... :O)

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Dominic sent a Nanny over to help Abby's sister out while they spent the day together.

Any additional comments?

This is a great book that I enjoyed.... The audible version is great because I can still do what I need or want to do and still enjoy a good book... :O)

Hot story if you are a 20 year old virgin.

Waste of a credit. Unbelievable plot with a couple of poor sex scenes thrown in to make it "hot". Bad writing, so-so narration. I might have thought this was a sexy story when I was young. As an adult, it was boring, at best.

Why all the rave reviews?

This was ok... just ok... nothing to rave about.. a basic billionaire guy and non-billionaire girl hook up... I actually got bored halfway through and skipped to the end.

Narration was ok..

Maybe a credit if nothing else is available...

Made for Audio

Would you consider the audio edition of Maid for the Billionaire to be better than the print version?

I would consider it an adjunct. Nothing replaces anything

What did you like best about this story?

The depiction of the Alpha Male - Dominic. The author - Ruth Cardello - beautifully presents a strong male and bit by bit reveals the sensitive sweet side.

What does Kim Bubbs bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Emotion - action of words through hearing.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes the book makes you laugh and wonder at times. Definitely keeps your interest - you won't be able to put it down until you finish.

Any additional comments?

Love this book. Thank goodness for this book - it introduced me to the wonderful works of Ruth Cardello. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Story is SO unhealthy. The narrator is excellent.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

People who like other bad examples about relationships that are unbalanced, unhealthy, and toxic. Like "50 Shades of Gray".

Would you ever listen to anything by Ruth Cardello again?

Not if she wrote a romance. Her characters and their stories were actually REALLY interesting... until they were put in a room together and it was all raging hormones, mind games, ego, and manipulation.

Have you listened to any of Kim Bubbs’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I had not, but she is an excellent narrator I will look up to see what other books she has read. She was LOVELY to listen to.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Maid for the Billionaire?

All the sex. All of it.This story would have been amazing had it actually had a plot. The characters had interesting stories that meant nothing.

Any additional comments?

This should not be any man or woman's fantasy. This is not healthy or sexy. This kind of behavior should send you screaming as you run in the opposite direction.

Short book, quick love, even faster wrap up

Any additional comments?

This story started really good. I was very engaged until it was evident the story was moving along faster than I could see plausible. The main characters found themselves in love after a short few days when he is supposedly a rake and a handsome billionaire one at that too. No one in that situation is that crazy, but I guess Ruth Cardello found it necessary to move the story along quickly to complete her project that could have been great had she spent a bit more time on it. So I lost interest about half way into the story. Passionate scenes were ok, but again I need more mental stimulation in a book.
The narrator was also not very good. I felt she was about to fall sleep at any moment while narrating.
