Another fun, easy listen from a consistently entertaining series. The mystery is light but engaging, with just the right pace. The real star? Sassy, Sassy, Sassy!!! The clever little French bulldog —she helps crack the case with her sharp instincts and well-timed moves. A great pick for fans of cozy mysteries with a bit of charm and personality.

Adorable dog detective

This high quality cozy mystery is easy to follow, upbeat and heartwarming. The narrator does a great job bringing both the human and doggo characters to life. Funny and cute!

Lola and Sassy on the case!

A disagreeable woman dies at a garden party in a quaint English village. Practically everyone has a motive to do her harm. PI Lola Ramsey and her talking canine sidekick are working with the police to discover the killer. I like how Lola has integrated herself into the village and with Sassy’s help is working through her PTSD. The characters develop through this series by Rosie Sams, but there is enough background that the book can be read as a stand-alone. The narration by Christina Fountain is outstanding. She creates unique voices for the characters which brings them and the story to life.

Mai Tais and Murder is the fifth book in Dog Detective- A Bulldog on the Case Cozy Mystery. Christina Fountain did a fantastic job with the narration, and bringing the story to life. The story is entertaining, interesting, engaging, enjoyable, cozy, fun, and more. What happens when you are invited to an English inspired garden party and instead of just the garden there is someone who drops dead? Can our lovable bulldog find out what happened before an innocent person gets charged for it? I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend
