I didn't look carefully before buying.....

What would have made Magic Mushrooms better?

The information seemed to be conjecture, speculation and personal opinion. I read the previous reviews but didn't notice it was only 33 minutes long. There is no possible way to adequately introduce this topic in that time. The comments and what is covered are arbitrary, random, and decidedly unscientific, questionable, and contradictory. It is incoherent in some parts and he what little information there is is repeated.

Would you ever listen to anything by Colin Willis again?

Unfortunately, no.

What aspect of Kelly Rhodes’s performance would you have changed?

Was fine.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Magic Mushrooms?

Again, there is much personal opinion and conjecture.

Any additional comments?

Apologies for the negativity of this review, but I'm very sorry I wasted a credit on this. I cannot recommend it for any reason.

Irritating to listen to

The man reading is pronouncing words wrong. The story itself is mundane and lacks any real information. You can find this information on Wikipedia.

If only it was free!

In short this book which should be described as a pamphlet, sounds like it’s being read by a robot and has all of the character you could imagine with this type of narration.

Also the information provided equals that everyone who has even had an inkling of curiosity and has devoted 30 minutes time to research briefly on a few different sites devoted to the subject.

It would’ve been better received if it was one of audibles free offerings given you would not be left feeling like you have revisited well-known information without an investment of a book credit.

Very Informative

I have experienced all three of the recreational drugs both guided and unguided. This book was so informative and intresting. Very unbiased opinion with and open mind. If you are curious if concerned for someone and don't know much about this topic. This is a great little read to open your mind.

Not factual. way out of context.

what like facts the author used they sloppily strung together with opinions and generalizations. it would be funny if not for the fact that people will read this and believe it. please don't read this unless you have some knowledge of the history, uses, and effects of these mushrooms. This book is obviously written from a very ethnocentric, and ignorant point of view. It is comical at best and misinformative at worst.

very informative

Great, short book on mushrooms. Narrator could use more emotion on reading. He was monotonous too often.

A shor but great introduction for the inquisitive

Enjoyed the quick and easy review introducing the possibilities of shrooms. Liked it's comparison with other natural plant based psychoactives.

Not very informative

This didn't really present any credible scientific info that would be particularly useful in any academic conversation.
