  • I Carry Living Hope; Nothing Beyond Resurrection!
    Apr 4 2026

I Carry Living Hope; Nothing Beyond Resurrection! "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 1 Peter 1:3 Desmond Tutu said, “Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” Imagine standing on the shores of a tumultuous sea, with towering waves crashing around you. This is what life can feel like at times. Yet, just like a lighthouse stands firm, guiding ships safely to shore, so too does hope lead us through the tempests of life. Our living hope, rooted in the resurrection of Christ, shines brightly, illuminating paths of peace and joy for us and others. Reflect on the story of Job — a testament to unwavering hope. Despite facing immense loss, Job's faith remained steadfast, reminding us that hope is not derived from circumstances, but from the assurance of God's promises. Job’s restoration demonstrates that nothing is beyond God’s ability to renew. When we experience living hope, we become conduits of light for others, illuminating their paths in darkness. Romans 15:13 says, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Remember, "Nothing stands beyond resurrection; even ashes remember how to glow." Therefore, trusting in God cultivates joy and peace, even in the simplest of moments. These feelings become the seeds of hope we can sow into the lives of those around us, creating a ripple effect of encouragement and support within our communities. As we embrace our living hope, we gain the strength to anchor ourselves amidst life's various currents. In Revelation 21:5, the promise rings true: “He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’” This assurance invites us to envision a future bursting with renewal and infinite possibilities. Every interaction becomes an opportunity to share this hope, like a spark igniting a flame in another's heart. Amen. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come! Amen. Prayer for the day! God of hope, thank You for filling me with Your living hope today. Lord, help me to recognize that no situation is beyond Your power to transform. May this hope radiate through my actions and words, guiding those around me towards light. In Jesus name. Amen. https://maglife.org

  • Where Do I See a “STONE” Today?
    Apr 3 2026

Where Do I See a “STONE” Today? “Take away the stone,” he said. “But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.” John 11:39 Imagine standing before a majestic mountain range. Each stone represents not just a barrier, but a stepping stones to a more fulfilling journey. When we look closely, we see that these seemingly immovable objects can become portals to growth, just as the Israelites discovered when they faced the walls of Jericho. They didn’t back down; they gathered their faith and marched around the city, their shared belief moving not just their hearts, but the very walls themselves. Reflect on the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. “Take away the stone,” He commanded, reminding us that sometimes we must remove the barriers that keep us from experiencing the miracles in our lives. John 11:39 teaches us about the power of faith and cooperation with God, indicating that we play a role in our own journey toward resurrection and renewal. Just think of the amazement that followed when the stone was rolled away, revealing not just a tomb, but new life! Matthew 21:21 says, "Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done." In our own lives, we often face stones that can cloud our vision. Matthew 21:21 encourages us, saying, “If you have faith and do not doubt... you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea.’” What is that mountain for you? Today might be the perfect moment to examine the stones you see around you. With intentional prayer and partnership with Jesus, even the most daunting mountains can become mere pebbles at our feet. Remember, "Sometimes the stones are just obstacles waiting for us to move them." So, “Roll Away Your Stones!” is more than a slogan; it’s an invitation. Each day presents opportunities to choose faith over fear, to believe that God is by our side, ready to help us turn obstacles into stepping stones. As the saying goes, “With God, every stone can be rolled away.” Embrace this truth, knowing that your faith has the potential to reshape your landscape. Amen. Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Amen. Prayer for the day!Thank You, Jesus, for revealing the stones in my life that hinder my progress. Lord, grant me the courage and strength to partner with You in rolling them away, so that I may experience freedom and breakthrough. May my heart be open to the new horizons that await as I step boldly into Your promise of transformation. In Jesus name. Amen. https://maglife.org

  • What Promise Looks Dead?
    Apr 2 2026

What Promise Looks Dead? Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Romans 4:18 Corrie ten Boom once said, "Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible." Imagine a garden, vibrant with potential yet seemingly barren. Just like a dormant seed, what you perceive as "dead" may merely be waiting for the right conditions to thrive. This is mirrored in the story of Lazarus (John 11), where Jesus did not just restore life but transformed despair into radiant hope. Your promises, too, can undergo a resurrection — unseen now, but full of potential. In Romans 4:18, we read about Abraham, who, “against all hope, in hope believed.” He nurtured his promise through unwavering faith, reminding us that belief can cultivate the seemingly impossible. This act of faith is akin to watering a seed; it requires perseverance and trust that something beautiful will emerge. God invites us to reimagine our hopes, to cultivate them with prayer and belief. Ezekiel 37:5 says, "Thus says the Lord God to these bones: 'Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live." If you ever consider the graveyard of lost promises, you would see that dreams lie dormant in such places. Nevertheless, Ezekiel 37:5 assures us that God breathes life into the dead. Like a gentle wind that stirs a slumbering seed, God is willing to rejuvenate our dreams. Remember, "In every leaf and petal, God's hands are sculpting new beginnings." So, let today be the day you revive your promises through fervent prayer and call back to life those things that look dead. Hear this: "Dead ends are just places where signs fell off; faith redraws the map by walking. Each step writes what sight cannot read." As you explore the depths of your heart, identify those promises you hold dear. What seems lost or forgotten may be just below the surface, awaiting your heartfelt attention and nurturing spirit. Amen. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Amen. Prayer for the day!Heavenly Father, thank you for the resurrection power over every promise in my destiny. Lord, reveal to me the promises I have lost hope in. Give me the faith to believe that You can resurrect what seems dead in my life. Help me nurture these promises with prayer and trust, so they may bloom in Your perfect timing. In Jesus name. Amen. https://maglife.org
