Great story !!!!

As a fan of true-crime and mobsters, I eagerly delved into "Mafia Confession: King of Bootleggers." From the narrator's first words, I was drawn into a world of intrigue, deception, and danger. The author masterfully weaves a tale of murder and betrayal that kept me guessing until the very end. With vivid descriptions and well-developed characters, the story unfolds in a way that keeps you on the edge of your seat. If you're looking for a gripping read that will leave you breathless, "Mafia Confession" is a must-read for any fan of the genre.

A Wild Ride From Where It All Started.

This is like a living newspaper and radio drama all in one. The fact that it's taken from a lot of different source material like newspapers, court docs, and diaries really makes it compelling. It's all written in a lot of first person dialogue and gives the narratator a lot of room to inhabit each character and voice. I didnt' read the book, but I imagine having a narrator who can add some drama and different variations to the story probably makes it a bit more engaging, given that a lot of it dialogue anyway. I thought I had read (or heard) every mafia story and that genre was done. But this gives you a different take on it and is a timely comment on how immigrants come here looking for a better life in a country that doesn't always welcome them, thus forcing them into doing whatever it takes to live.
