Feel ripped off
What would have made Madness, Sex, Serial Killer better?
Nowhere in the publisher summary or on the cover does it let you know that this is nothing more than an extended commercial for the author's t.v. show and his other books. Constant references, and irritating "if you want to know more then buy my book/watch my show" ploys leave a bad taste in the listener's mouth. I feel cheated.
What could M. William Phelps and Gregg Olsen have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Been honest about what was actually contained in this waste of a download.

Easy listen that keeps you wanting more. Phelps gives a bit of himself in theIr book of overviews of other books of his. New perspectives on the old story. Not too long, but leaves you wanting more. I would like to see more of these by him.

Unless you are a fan of the authors' work, don't bother
Apparently this is background information to a TV series I have never heard of and a book I have never read. Essentially it's a really long advertisement for the two and their authors. Particularly the self glorification gets tiresome. Why does anyone think a crime lover would care if the author just had to read something at their desk or that some sources are disappointing? How he felt on a car drive? If you do, you will love this book. Everyone else should stick to notorious USA.
