Publisher's summary

One decision. Two lives ripped apart. For Holden Warner and Emylie Sanchez, the road back to each other has been long and jagged. Each of them hiding from the truth, but unwilling to move on from the love they share.

When life no longer allows them to run from their past, they soon realize they're two souls who will never fit anywhere except...with each other.

Loved the Narrators

I really like this authors writing. I found Made for You to be entertaining even though I'm not a fan of trap pregnancies. Holden really did need to get his head out of the sand after he left the girl he only loved to make a life with the girl he got pregnant in California and is trying to make a life with. But when he brings his soon to be wife to meet the family, he's questioning everything. What I really liked was Emylie's relationship with Mason and Rebecca. They were great friends and were very supportive and funny. I also adored the relationship she formed with Carter. That was the best thing ever. J.F. Harding was great as always. His voice really showed how conflicted and hurt Holden was. I felt a little bad for him. Charlotte North did a great job as well as Emily. She has a sweet and kind voice that I could absolutely associate with Emylie.

Made for You

H is a a-hole who was dimmer than a 5w bulb.
h was whiny and spineless

I liked the male friends a lot more than the H

I had to speed up the audio to get through it. Then female narrators voice was annoying to me and her accent sounded fake.

Spineless and wimpiest hero ever!

I will begin by saying that I have every book in the “Cowboys and Angels” series by Kelly Elliott, and I loved each and every one of them, so when I found “Made for You” I didn’t think twice before downloading it.

Well, was I wrong with this one. I wasted my time in one of the worst romances I have listened to lately, and I have no idea how this story could have gotten so may positive reviews.

******WARNING SPOILERS******

FFS, is the 21st century!

To begin with, if/when a woman gets pregnant (under “normal” circumstances) there are two people responsible for it, not just one. And even if the woman is pregnant and demanding you marry her knowing beforehand that you are in love with somebody else, in no way shape or form you “must” or “have to” get married.

If that happened I would:

1. Ask her to go with me to the doctor (preferably one of my choosing) to verify via Ultra Sound that there is indeed a baby.

2. If there is a baby, I would require a DNA test to verify paternity. I would be present for everything I was allowed to be, and if the baby was mine, I would take responsibility for him/her, and try to work on a shared baby care plan.

3. In this day and age you don’t have to get married because of a baby. You should take responsibility and work out a shared custody plan, period.

The hero is just stupid and falls for all the lies the OW (who is a witch and a snake) tells him. He lets this woman boss him around, and lead him by the b@lls for FIVE YEARS!!!. She treats him like dirt, and he lets her get away with it.

The hero throws away everything he used to have and love so he can do the "right thing" without hurting more the people he loves... REALLY????

He doesn't even have the b@lls to break up in person. He just calls his girlfriend instead. On the phone, our hero tells the heroine that he has met somebody else. This is just a few weeks after he had told her that he loved her and would always love her. This coward breaks the heroine's heart into a million tiny pieces.

At this point I just had to force myself to finish out of curiosity to see how the author would untangle this mess. I won't go into more details, but it is a cluster fu%^$.

I had a lot more to say but I have wasted enough time on this. The hero does still more damage afterward, and the heroine takes him back after everything. If you feel like wasting some time go for it. I do not recommend this book. The hero is a wimp and the heroine a doormat. The End.
