Very beginner

The content of this book is definitely targeted at the very beginner. It is essentially a 101 overview of the terminology and basic statistical models. Overall if you are looking for an introductory primer this book may work for you, but if you are already familiar with the topic you will already know the majority of what it includes.

As for the audiobook in particular: There was a high pitched hum in the background throughout (not present in other audiobooks on the same device). I also felt the narration was a bit slow and ended up listening at 1.5x to get to the pace I would have found more natural. For some reason they also include readings of things like the table of contents, so you may wish to skip forward until you get to the actual book.

Meh

I had a hard time completing this book because I had to go to chapter 7 before It actually got started. The narrator read the table contents, a preface, and introduction before it actually got anywhere. Even ch 1 is a lot like a repeat of the introduction rehash. questioning my purchase.
