Machine Learning: A Technical Approach To Machine Learning For Beginners - 2 books in one

This book contains:

  • Machine Learning: A Technical Approach to Machine Learning for Beginners
  • Machine Learning: A Guide for Beginners

What exactly is machine learning and why is it so valuable in the online business world? Simply put, it is a method of data analysis that uses algorithms that learn from data and produce specific results without being specifically programmed to do so. These algorithms can analyze data, calculate how frequently certain parts of it are used, and generate responses based on these calculations in order to automatically interact with users.

Here is a preview of what you’ll learn:

  • What machine learning is
  • How does machine learning work
  • Why it is so important
  • Machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Some of the branches of artificial
  • Intelligence - deep neural networks
  • Decision trees in relation to Machine Learning
  • Logistic regression
  • What Python is and how to get started with it

Learn to Develop ML Application in Python Quickly

I bought this book to help me get up and running quick for a project in an "Introduction to Machine Learning" independent study course. Of the books I bought for the same task, this was by far the most helpful for building practical machine learning applications.

Lots of good examples provided

I found this book to be quite informative for someone who just get into machine learning. Lots of good examples provided..however, I want to see some more real world application examples rather than sample data sets.

Loving stuff

A healthy discussion of the skills and techniques you'll need to perform best-practices machine learning. Very concise code examples and practical demos!

How amazing this book is!

This book give us deep insights about machine learning some times too deep but all the time with concrete examples of the daily life. In the end you understand the 5 master algorithms and how they, one time, will work together towards the Master Algorithm. Finally give us the notion of not being scared about the future but be prepared to be part of this voyage. Is a incredible, inspirational and guide book for the future of mankind.

This machine learning textbook has changed my life and the trajectory of my career. Thank you so much for writing such an awesome book. I currently have two copies and have been getting everyone I know to buy one. I'm a graduate student in the field of Bioinformatics and for any graduate student who uses statistics for any sort of analysis(which should be just about everyone), this is an absolute must have.

Lovely stuff

Some used Statistics and Linear Algebra books will be helpful in understanding this very good book. Actually teaches enough fundamentals to be useful which is difficult to find in this field. I have found there is no good place to start in machine learning. Just jump in.

Great intro for non-programmers.

If you're liking for a baseline on the ML subject, Theobald delivers several examples without the overwhelming math. If your in the AI field, this is common ground.

his book is great for software engineer and software developers, looking into data science; as well as theoretical mathematician and data scientists willing to move their first steps with software that can be used to solve real world data science-related problems.
