Publisher's summary

So, you are stuck with having to revise Macbeth, a Scottish play by a dead Tudor dude with a lousy haircut. In the next 30 minutes, I am going to make this revision process as pain free as possible. Trust me.

William Lloydson takes a break from his YouTube day job and adopts an alias to bring you this amusing approach to your English Literature revision.

There is a summary section giving you a breakdown of exactly what happens in the play. There are notable quotes, a section on themes and some character analysis, and finally, a look at some of the exam questions that seem to appear regularly.

great resource for students

well now I understand Macbeth better without having to read it. which I appreciate, because I always dreaded it before.l. now it seems more approachable. the historical aspect helps to understand what it was intended to accomplish at the time. we always have to make the powerful happy.

Macbeth GCSE Revision Guide

Bought this for my son in a last attempt to get him to do some revision. He has it on his phone and I’ve been reliably informed that he’s listened to it and it is amusing. Here’s hoping it manages to impart some useful knowledge for his GCSE English!
